We've lost three straight, we're going to be without Manu for sure tonight and Tony is day-to-day. We need a win and the Wizards have been struggling lately too so hopefully we can pull this one out.

Good win..There isn't much to say about this one as the Wiz looked totally out of sync on both ends of the floor..I liked the ball movement which net us triple digits on the board and the W..

Good win tonight, I don't know if it was our defense but the Wizards looked really out of sync tonight they had zero ball movement.

Re: Game Thread: Wizards @ Spurs
I can't understand Gilbert Arenas..
The comedian tried to become serious.. The scorer tried to become a pass first player when he should be focusing on a becoming a better defensive player. Caron Butler, on his blog, said that Arenas told him that Butler needs to more of a catch and shoot player. So the guy who doesn't even know what's best for himself, start giving advice to other players.
The day when Arenas try to be serious, a pass first player, and turned Caron Butler into a jumpshooter, I know why the Wizard is doomed.
Well atleast he's starting to figure it out. He's trying to be a comedian again. Step one. checked.

He never turned Butler into a jump shooter..That's Butler's own doing..I agree that Arenas doesn't have much right to call out other players by the way he's playing, but Butler is screwing up on his own..

Well from Butler's blog, it was Arenas who told him that Butler needs to be more of a catch and shoot player in Flip's offense. And it sure sounds like Butler is listening to him. I don't know if he's been doing that lately thou. Haven't been watching and Wizards game this year.

Well as one who watched nearly every Wizards game this year I can tell you with a straight face that Butler is not doing just that..He has become a straight up iso player on nearly most of his scoring opportunities who doesn't look for his teammates first..To top it all off he is missing on a lot of jump shots and finishes around the basket that he usually makes..To be fair to Butler, like Arenas, it's all mental..He lost a lot of weight this off-season and thus, it affected his confidence on his drives..He's still learning how to adjust playing within Flip's offense as he still feels he is the man endowed by his enlarged role (and ego) last year out of pure necessity..
