Big Shot Bob?

Post#1 » by DubaLakers » Sat Nov 28, 2009 1:24 am

Robert Horry hasn't played in the NBA in two seasons, but he would consider a comeback if the Lakers were interested.

"If they call me, I would play," Horry said. "I can do better than half of the players in the NBA. . . . And I'm in shape too." "Furthermore, I could outplay Sasha Vujacic blindfolded, juggling oranges with my off hand."

The Lakers aren't expected to reach out to Horry

I made up that quote, after a few responses possibly believing it, and why wouldn't they, it's sounds legit to me ;).

Call me skeptical. I don't think he could outplay Sasha at this time. Thanks dor all the great shots Robert.

I think Iverson has a better chance of getting a call from the Lakers than the seven time champion, and Iverson has a neal to none chance.

I love Big Shot Bob...but I'm still pissed he picked Orlando in the finals on an LA radio station last year.
Thank you, Phil.

The guy looked like the Michellin man during the Lakers' ring ceremony. IMO, he just wants an easy way to that 8th.

haha. I just ordered on paperback Larry's book my life, hope I don't get hit by lightning, but I can read it now that he's retired, got mad respect for that man and interested to read his story. If anyone wants to read it when I'm thru send me $5 (shipping) and I'll forward it, lol.

Try coach Bill Jackson's "The Last Season". Interesting read.

I would take Rob over Ammo any day. At lease Rob brings it some respect to the floor. Hire Rob to teach some of the bench make a big shot.

Ring chaser. No.

He wouldn't get minutes either.

The last time I saw this guy, he was a key reason we beat the Spurs in the playoffs. Just a liability, who couldn't knock any shots down. He was even hesitant to take open shots. Go to Boston Rob. Kill THEM.

He can be the 15th man for old Laker days sake. His championship rings sound like the Finals format
2-3-2 total 7!

QFT!!!!!! Is so annoying when people call him bob. How hard is it to put Robert and Rob together!!!!!
Shane Battier on Kobe: "I always seem to end up on Kobe Island at some point or another, all expense paid."
