What was the median TS%........?

for the starters at each position during the 2008-09 NBA season? I can't find those numbers anywhere.

I think the mean is about 53%

It's around .550. For players that played at least 60 games and averaged at least 28 mpg, the median is .549. For players that played over 2200 minutes, the median is .554. Both cases have between 100-135 total players, which is about what you'd expect. That means about 20-25% of starting positions are either platooned or, as a result of injury, don't have one player that started for a significant part of the season. By just eyeballing the numbers, it doesn't look like there's a huge amount of extra shots in the upper or lower groups...so I'm thinking .550 is pretty close the mark. Since the league mark was around .544 last year, it fits.
