What do we expect from Ray Allen after this season

Hmm, Ray after this season....

I think we have ti at least take a look at trading him this season. There might be a deal that helps us now and in the long term. But more likely than not we will not find such a deal. We can look again in the summer but we probably will just resign him to a few year deal. I don't really want to wager a guess at the amount but I would be surprised to see a big fight over money, it doesn't seem to be rays way. On the court I think he should be a help for a while to come. Miller was a help to the pacers for a long time after his prime. At some point hopefully we can get a younger version of him and put ray into a 6th 7th man role. he could prove to be a valuable mentor as he has a keen understanding of the game.
