Douby Sighting

Post#1 » by Dustin5566 » Sun Nov 29, 2009 12:22 am

Courtesy of Sactown Royalty:

Quincy Douby scores 31 ... in Turkey.
Justarealdude/Quincy Douby had a strong showing in his first Turkish league game earlier this month, scoring an impressive 31 points with 5 assists. QD is a member of Darüşşafaka Cooper Tires and can be followed here for the foreseeable future.

Good luck Quincy.

At least he was able to make something out of his career..

Personally, I'd be thrilled if I was getting paid to play basketball ANYWHERE!

I think he'll come back to the states in a couple years and really be a factor, similar to Anthony Parker.

I hope he does well over there. I used to think that Douby can be an awesome 6th man in this league. Similar to a Jason Terry-type of player.

I wish him the best on his endeavors.

I wish the Douby the best, but I still to this day think he's not NBA material. He very well may be good a basketball player, but that doesn't always translate to the NBA.

well his 3pt % has fallen to %28, he started chucking up in his second game, i actually watched it live and it was ugly! even the fans who had no idea who he was wondered why he chucked up shot so much, with a hand in his face. BTW if he plays good this season, he'll get to play in a great team.

Let me explain, Darüşşafaka is the B team of Efes Pilsen, which has mario Kasun,Rakocevic and Nachbar on the roster(former team of Hedo and Memo), and is a yearly final four candidate in Europe. So, given his contract is also paid by Efes, i hope he plays well and gets a roster spot at Efes, which will give him a true shot at being a European champion. not the was he chucks up shots tho. this guy, since rutgers , has never learned when his shots aren't falling and to try to be a PG. oh well, that's why he sucked during his years in the NBA i guess. let's hope he plays well and gets promoted to Efes Pilsen...
