What's with the different random **** of pictures every new game thread? I mean, I oddly love it...but it just seems weird to me.

Glad you love it I guess this just shows what happens to a guy that decided to stay home while the rest of his family went away for the holiday weekend.

There is no way in hell that I would attempt to do these things for an entire season (props to those who have), so I was trying to make some sort of a template to use over and over again like Shady did last year. But, I haven't liked the results of my efforts, hence the changes (for example: Melo and Malik needed to be in white jerseys to keep everything uniform, the melo picture was my screw up, but I can't seem to locate a picture of Malik in a white Nuggets uniform).

If anyone else wants to give it a shot, by all means please be my guest. It wouldn't/shouldn't take much effort to surpass what I have done. I doubt very much that I will ever be accused of being tech savvy.

In all honesty, the throwback game threads that Corona was going to go with work for me, but I have been bored out of my mind, a guy can only drink so much MHZ was doing great with the game threads he was doing, but he has gone MIA for a good stretch of games now.

Agree on the game comment, it will probably be another fast paced high scoring game with little to no defense that the Nuggets should win.

...kings one is ok, I guess all the different pieces are nice to have but it seems a little busy so I still like el loco's and mhz's and even corona's minimalist thread

...maybe one item to add at the bottom is GK's +/- watch? Post had an article today saying how much he favors the +/-

if we did animated gifs I would just do one of our five players and make that gif the "play of the week" and leave all the other guys static pics

Ya that SAC one is crazy. I like how it has .gifs for all the players on the team but i agree it is a little busy.
It was hard to even tell where the game thread ended and the first post started lol.

I like the original and minimalist feel of ours so far.

We beat this team in MIN like a week ago we better not blow it at home. 17 home game win streak, and it should be 18 if are team plays even moderately well.

all nba teams are talented though, and can win on any night. i'm not that surprised or outraged. first time in the billups era we lose to a sub .500 team at home. this will be good motivation for awhile.

40 pt 1st quarter...19 from Melo...Karl takes out the 1st unit. Stupidity.

2nd unit needs to get mins in the 2nd half preferably late in the 3rd and 4th they've proven they can't hold leads just like the Clipper game.
