What impact will Robinson have?

Post#1 » by DelaneyRudd » Thu Oct 25, 2007 11:45 pm

When Koren Robinson can play how big of an impact will he have? With as important as the position is to this offense it could make them unstoppable if he quickly returns to form. Who will get the short end of the stick? Ruvell Martin seems like a likely candidate but he is used more for his height in special situations. Maybe it will just mean even more passing setups, with more WR blocking.

Anything we get out of him is a bonus. Our return game has been nothing so I think he can help there. And a Driver/Jennings/Jones/Robinson/Martin receiving group is solid.

i think he'll have a big impact on special times. he has a hunger to prove that he is back and back for good. he wants to prove that his past troubles are behind him and that'll motivate him tremendously. im predicting a return for a touchdown. but on offense he'll have a few catches but i think he needs a week or two more pf preparation to make an impact on offense.

Sounds like he is a bit rusty. I guess that is to be expected though.

According to Driver, KR will have a instant huge impact. Question is will he be active?

He should be an upgrade over Tramon Williams as a KR, and he should also be a very good #4 option at reciever

"With Robinson's roster exemption expiring at 3:00 today the Green Bay Packers have activated wide receiver Koren Robinson and placed running back DeShawn Wynn on injured reserve."

Disappointing end to his year. Not sure about the severity of the injury or they'd just had enough of his lack of toughness, but it wouldn't surprise me if his Packer career is over. Brandon Jackson is a full year younger and they have more invested in the guy. I also have to believe they'll add another runner next offseason, possibly in the 1st or 2nd round.
