DJ Augustin - PG or SG

Post#1 » by Finn Man » Sat Nov 28, 2009 9:43 pm

Hello! I am having an argument with another Finnish dude about this. So, is he a point guard or an off-guard?
I personally think he´s a point because he is unselfish, steady with the basketball (at least for his age) and has nice court vision.

He better be a point guard because he sure as heck isn't a shooting guard.

You're correct.

So far, a pretty poor point guard, but it's his position. His size doesn't allow him to play the 2, and his defense shouldn't allow him to play in the NBA, but I can only hope he gets better.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I think he has tools (quick hands and feet, some effort) to be good at it.

Definitely a PG and a PG that recently isn't as near as bad as those on this board say he is. He keeps the offense flowing pretty good when he's in the game.

I think he is poised for some breakthroughs late in the season.

Unless he hits a late growth spirt he is and will be PG his whole career.
