Perk's tech was taken away........

Post#1 » by Kefa461 » Sun Nov 29, 2009 7:51 pm

The league has rescinded a technical he received two weeks ago in Indiana. After being called for a foul, Perkins remained with his arms up to indicate he had established position. Referee Joe Crawford hit him with a tech, but Perkins appealed.

“At times it’s hard because you’re trying to stay away from the technical fouls, and they just seem to find you,” he said. “But it probably was just a misunderstanding with Joey. It wasn’t anything else past that.”

Of course not, heaven forbid the NBA or Stern ever admit how awful and wrong they are...

I wonder if Stern knows how much NBA fans hate his guts and those of the league officials...

Although we're the idiots who keep watching and paying...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

IMO the ref situation won't get better until David Stern retires. He's the Don of all this crap. Someone of his power should not be in position for 25+ years. This is why we have limits on the number of terms a president can sit. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Sadly, though Stern will likely pick his successor, so i don't think thing will be changing even after he leaves.

I am hoping the Ref scandal can force some change. But, Unless we see something from the federal investigation, i think the NBA will continue to sweep this under the rug by questioning the credibility of the accusers.

Case in point, everyone in Congress and state government, where term limits are needed desperately (Barney Frank? Nancy Pelosi? John Kerry? I could go on and on)...

Stern = Don Corleone of the NBA...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
