Jonas Jerebko has been a very pleasant surprise for the Pistons this year. This kid just hustles his ass off every second he's on the floor. He's 6'10" 240lb and can play SF/PF/C. He's become a fan favorite in Detroit. He's just not getting the love nationally. It's not just against the Hawks. He's gone up against Dirk, Kobe, Vince, LeBron, etc and done very nicely.

We needed to do two things to win the game...

1. Stuckey/Bynum needed to attack the rim constantly.

2. We needed the entire team to rebound the ball.

Luckily, our team accomplished boht tasks. But the Hawks still made it very difficult to pull out the victory.

Good luck the rest of the season, except against the Pistons.

Didn't even read through the thread, the Hawks were rebounding the calibur of a bad WNBA team today. They had no business being that close, nothing else to see here. We got bashed on the boards and didn't deserve the game. :ouch:

As I said earlier, classic trap but I didn't expect Detroit to dominate the boards as much as they did.

Some other late keys:
Josh should have thrown the ball to Bibby on his left instead of launching the 3 himself near the end.
The Jerebko stop on the 2 on 1 break late was a big time basketball play probably play of the game.

Watch the Hawks bounce back and win the next 2 at home before laying an egg next Saturday. They need to figure out how to get some more consistency in their play and effort.

Ugh. That shot by Smith was something else. My first reaction was honestly just to laugh.

I'm writing that shot off to desperation and panic in the moment.

I missed the game and I see just as predicted Stuckey and Bynum went off but the rebounding?
