Who: Pittsburgh Steelers(6-4) @ Baltimore Ravens(5-5)

Where: M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD
Time: 7:20 PM CST

Keys to the Game

1. This game will be a grindout from the defensive side. Expect a right game from start to finish.
2. Blitz Flacco to force mistakes.
3. O-Line needs to protect Big Ben better and Ben needs to work on getting the ball out quicker. Can't afford another concussion.
4. Do your best to come out with a win.

Big Ben will sit out against the Ravens on Sunday night. Dennis Dixon will take his place @ QB. The link states that the Steelers will look to rely on the running game for most of their offense to keep Dixon from feeling too much pressure already with him being thrown into the fire.

I heard that and read where Mendenhall will get more carries to take some of the pressure off of Dixon. The last time Mendenhall played the Ravens he was lost for the rest of the season due to injury (shoulder). Dixon looked great during the exhibition season, hopefully that will carry over

Suggs will probably be out for the Ravens, he got chopped blocked by Brady Quinn and is listed as doubtful.

One less person to deal with. My main concerns on the Ravens defense is Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. If these two get into Dixon's head. That spells trouble. The Steelers defense concerns me as well as they haven't been as consistantly dominate at times. They truly have to be on point and rebound from the bad loss against KC.

Also I will miss the first half of the game since I will be at work. :nonono:

BTW, can anyone see the pic?

I don't have a very good feeling about it either, the Rayvens want revenge from last year, we kicked their ass 3 times and the Rayvens will remember like it happened yesterday. I do like the Steelers chances better than the Nets chances of not tying the record for the worst start ever, poor guys get to turn around after that game and head home to play the Mavs where they will most likely set a new standard of excellence

The last time Dennis Dixon took a meaningful snap he was helping Oregon compete in the Pac-10. Will he be able to duck Ray Lewis' gang and pick up a win for the banged up Steelers?

Bettors got a full appreciation of how valuable oddsmakers see Ben Roethlisberger is to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The books held the line all week until found out for certain that Big Ben would not play. Some shops had the Ravens as 2-point home faves early in the week, but everyone moved to -8 when Roethlisberger was officially ruled out. The total also made a major move. The early week number of 42 quickly dropped to 34.

The Ravens could be without several of their Pro Bowlers for Sunday's clash. Safety Ed Reed (foot) and tight end Todd Heap (chest) were both limited in practice this week and are listed as questionable, while linebacker Terrell Suggs (knee) is out for a couple weeks. Linebacker Ray Lewis admitted his foot and ankle were bothering him against the Colts last week, but he's probable for Sunday

Baltimore's offense has sputtered in the past three games, producing only one touchdown in that span. Quarterback Joe Flacco has not thrown a touchdown pass in those three games, the longest drought of his young career. It won't be easy to snap out of that funk against the Steelers. Flacco completed only 44.9 per cent of his passes in three meetings with Pittsburgh last year, throwing one touchdown and five interceptions. He was sacked 10 times in those games.

"The way we play each other, it's always a physical ballgame, it's always going to come down to one of the last plays," Ray Lewis said. "It's just the way it is."

Sure have, and probably should have won, the defense is the side of the ball that let us down tonight if the Rayvens come out this game with a victory.

Dixon is taller than I thought he was, he was standing next to Big Ben and he looked to be the same size to me.

Hate they loss the game b/c of an INT. It was a tough game as expected b/c of how these two teams play. When Cundiff made the kick in the late moments, I thought the game was over. Practically scared me to death. When he missed it, I was relieved. Unfortunately I wish the game had a better outcome. It certainly doesn't help us in the standings. Dennis Dixon played the best he could. He threw for a TD and ran for a TD. He just need more season experience on the field to get better as a player. The defense didn't play to strength and has continue to struggle this season. If this continues, I can't say if the Super Bowl repeat may come to fruition.

He shouldn't even have had a chance to tie the game up in the first place. All the defense had to do was hold them, but they failed to do it. Mr. Dixon played a good game and the defense let him down in regulation.

6-5 pretty much have to win out now. All 3 of these last losses were all games the Steelers could/should have won, which makes it even tougher to swallow.
