Radiers waived WR Mike Williams.
What a way to go out. Williams made some progress in Oakland, but was inconsistent and dropped a key pass on fourth-and-14 last week that ended the game for the Raiders. Williams was thrown-in with Josh McCown for the Raiders' fourth round draft pick on draft day. While Williams will likely get one more shot in the league, it's only a matter of time until he joins Charles Rogers in career purgatory.

The Panthers are going to do anything they can to get rid of him this summer. You cannot imagine how far in the doghouse Jarrett is with Fox, his teammates, and esp. the front office. Smith was exactly right in his shot across the bow to Jarrett. The big guy got real happy with his signing bonus and is the last guy to arrive and the first one to leave every team function. They sardonically joke he doesn't even know where the weight room is, even though it's like 12,000 square feet and you have to walk past it to get to the lockers.
