Next summer he might be wanted by a few teams. 23 and a restricted free agent, he might get some nice money offers. If the Lakers do not match. He will be in the money and still 23.

Happy birthday Jordy.

I've been wondering about that though...the whole every player thinking that next summer is going to be a big cashing in period. Now doesn't the fact that there are so many players going up for contracts all at once only mean that some will make big bucks but others will just get the same they would have?

It's not like there are more NBA jobs and there's going to be these crazy bidding wars (for lower tier players). Plus while the big guys like LeBron, etc are holding out trying to get all those stipulations in their contracts, playing teams off each other, those teams aren't going to sign the smaller players, because they'll be waiting to see where the big ones fall through.

I don't know, I don't really understand the logic. Idk, anyone have any thoughts on that?

Happy Birthday dawg, you're still getting love from us so that shows you if you pick it up we'll ride with you. Other wise, row row row your boat, gently to another team, merrily merrily merrily merrily playing for the Lakers could have been a dream!
