another sheed comment

Post#1 » by Green0017 » Sat Nov 28, 2009 9:25 am

“They set rules on us to the point where you’re taunting. When Paul dunked it and then, Paul didn’t say nothing, he just looked at him. Let The Golden Child do that or one of the NBA [Basketball] Without Borders kids do that and it’s all fine and dandy.’’

Asked if he was referring to Cleveland’s LeBron James, Wallace said, “Take a guess,’’ acknowledging that he was.

“I’m a straight shooter now,’’ Wallace said. “I ain’t going to [expletive] you all.’’

I am starting to like Sheed more and more, not just for his play but for his honesty. Everything he said it 100% truth, how many time has Lebron done the same thing after a flashy dunk and its a no call. To be fair, the refs do give KG a lot of slack as well with both his talk and play on the court, so its just preferential treatment for some stars and sadly "The Truth" just doesn't get that kind of recognition even though he is just as elite as those other guys.

Gotta love Sheed though for challenging the authority, maybe thats why he doenst get any love from the refs, cause he gets hit a lot in when he's in the post and gets no calls.

Betcha the league fines Sheed for his honesty today!

"that's all Turkodoodoo do!". LOLOL

"doctors without borders" vs. "league players without borders"
Very funny, very witty, Sheed!!

Loved these 'Sheed quotes. Speaking some truth to power. He's like the Dr. Cornel West of the NBA.

This was another game filled with questionable calls--like when Rondo stole it, Bosh grabbed him, and Rondo flung it half court expecting a foul...and got nothing--or when KG clearly should have been awarded continuation on an alley-oop from Rondo, yet it was just a sideout.
The leaks are real...the news is fake.

I'm just here for the memes.

He's right... Let this be Kobe, LeBron or another player who really makes the NBA a lot of money we're talking about and the situation is different.

Despite what many people think, Stern is one of the worst things to ever happen to the NBA. He has practically altered the game to the point that you can't recognize it anymore at times

Well, you make the call... A brief stare down is so common nowadays after a dunk, that it should be allowed...

Sheed, you deserve a HUGE  for that comment...

But he'd better watch it before Stern and his goons toss Sheed into the back of a limo and make him "disappear" if he keeps up the truthful comments!!

Too late, he already fined him 30k for it. And it was expected. Criticizing officiating is one thing, but insinuating the obvious favoritism for Stern's adopted son LeBron is a mountain you don't wanna climb.

The difference there is that neither Jefferson or Wade actually stare at their "victims" in those videos. Pierce did.

I'm not saying he's a bad guy or a douche or whatever, but I'm just saying that's why he got called for a tech. Neither of those dunks is a good comparison.

Even though the NBA itself was hyping a Cavs-Lakers Finals...halfway through last season!

It's not like Sheed made it up out of whole cloth or anything...

I like how it took forever and a personal one-on-one talk with David Stern behind closed doors before LeBron could be fined for ditching the media in the Playoffs  The NBA seems to trigger happy on fines these days (Sheed, Barnes, etc.), it boggles the mind why LeBron only got the hammer after a lot of public outrage.

Because he's the Queen, the Chosen A$$, and as such is protected from anything and everything by Big Daddy David Stern. Stern probably paid LeCrab his money back from the fine

Here's my take...

Paul did taunt specially with the stare down............ Very obvious.
Wade did partially taunt but SKIP HIM he did deserve a tech both for stepping over V and then running his mouth to the crowd.
R.J is just a homo and its not everday you see him dunk on someone specially Odone who is a nobody in this league.

Fair enough.

I don't think the league has anything against players celebrating with the crowd when they're "pumped up" so Wade was clean on that. They're beef is when you taunt/stare a player down.

But I do agree, RJ is a homo.
