What would we give for Caron Butler

In order, I would send Ak, then Memo, then Boozer. Is this something we would be interested in, and who would you all prefer send, and what would the Wiz do?

It's hard to say, he has a solid contract for what he brings at 10 mil, though he would only be locked up for the rest of this season and next. It would be nice to have the inside track on resigning him as he still has some good basketball left. And if he did leave his expiring combined with AK's if he wasn't moved would give the Jazz a lot of opportunity.

You could combine a deal like Brewer/Kosta/Harpring for Butler. The Jazz lose a good young wing prospect (who they aren't sure is going to stick in the system since they didn't sign him to a contract) and a young big who the jury is completely out on right now. Maybe the Jazz could see if they could get a second rounder or something in addition, or the right to swap picks lottery protected or something.

And what we pick up is a proven scorer, a go to player, and a legit third option next to Boozer and Deron.

AK and CJ
We'd have to take back Mike James.

The Jazz cannot afford to trade much of their players now bc all playing well. Even Boozer has made himself un-tradeable bc he has been so good. I doubt washington wants expiring contracts like Korver and Harpring unless they get at least one of the Jazz better players.

If the Jazz are sure Boozer is gone at seasons end, then they might consider trading Boozer in a deal like the one below.

Boozer/Korver for Butler/James then Jazz release/buy out James.

Jazz become worse this season as Boozer has been a monster lately, But at least u get something for him if you are sure he is gone at end of the year.

No player on this team is untradeable. Don't kid yourself.
