Wolves, please leave

Post#1 » by Hemingway » Tue Dec 1, 2009 8:07 pm

I can't imagine that I am alone in this. Your posts take away a considerable amount of the fun from these boards. It has gotten to the point where most threads are either by you or ones you have replied the same copy and pasted stats or are filled with people telling you to stop. Your just annoying everyone so I'm asking you to leave. There are other boards where you might be more appreciated so please find one and leave realgm to the mainly great posters that we have all come to enjoy talking Celtics with.

I realize that this kind of thread is people not looking favorably on, I wouldn't post this if I wasn't so fed up. Wolves taking the fun out of realgm.

We have been through this before. This board doesn't exist as your personal playground - where you can get your jollies off of trying to spread doom and gloom or by denigrating the rest of the team by elevating one particular player to god like status..

Speech is not protected here and if most of the boards wants you gone - you should go. The "ignore" feature is more suited to people who have particular personal issues with one poster..

I'm sure www.celticsblog.com would love to have you on their boards. And believe me, it doesn't get any more "Celtic" than it is over there.

I was criticized for talking about Rondo previously. I haven't said virtually anything about him. You have a problem with reading factual, mostly statistical information about your team?

No post has focused on Rondo's efforts for the team and hardly mentioned him except in a joking response.

My posts have been relevant and factual.

Adjusted plus minus
win share
team rebounding trends
3 point shooting trends
quality of opponents in recent schedule

You do have a particular personal issue with me. So put me on ignore. We'll both be happier.

The thing is when you ingore someone who makes a zillion posts a day and one whose posts are controversial enough to get a response it doesn't work. You still see people responding to your foolishness and the end result is blocking someone is just as bad as not blocking someone. Been through it with Celtic Thug and Joe Bisket. Just leave. No one has said anything in your defense. I realize that I probably piss off people here, but if I were pissing off everyone and everyone was always telling me to go, I would.

You have a particular issue with me. Don't know what it is. The way to handle that is for you to put me on ignore.Do yourself a favor and put me on ignore and get everyone else who dislikes me to do the same.

That way the only people who would respond would be those who had a genuine interest in the topic and not just personal animus.
