I've posted my 994 th post about 100 times - is that normal?

Just noticed that I keep posting my 994th post. I'm assuming that can't be right. Looked for a way to send a private message to a moderator, but couldn't find a way. So I'm posting here.

Wow it just changed to 995. How about all of the other 994's?

Oh, I get it. It isn't a running count with each post numbered. All posts show the total number posted to date.... sorry to disturb.
