Hopefully it will encourage people to come out and support the team...

Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

Funny when you look at the head to head and who showed up most in which game, Tyreke looks better overall AND quite a bit more consistent.

Of course I'm just another Sacramento homer!

Yeah this will happen for the rest of the year IMO unless Blake Griffin has a monster month when he gets on the scene. The ROY race is a two player race.

I dunno, Jennings is quieting down since his sprint at the start. This is a marathon of a season. We'll see if Jennings keeps it up with the way defenses are adjusting to him. He's still better than I ever imagined, but I don't think the hype from the first 2 weeks will last in terms of real production over the course of the season. I see the two horse race being between Evans and Griffin by the end of the season.

But Jennings plays in the East Smills! They have one per conference. What rookie in the east looks promising?

but defenses are adjusting to evans as well. Just look at the NO game, they had the lane packed when he drove in, and it seemed to throw him off his game. He needs to learn to drive and kick out if the lane collapses.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

Darkadun they posted Evans a lot against NO though and on a few he just blew the finish.

True, but in the 2nd half their defense seemed to be geared towards stopping him, and it seemed like they did a pretty good job.

Won't be as easy to do that when Martin gets back

He passed up Jennings on the NBA.com Rookie Rankings list.

Evans told the Sacramento Bee this week he gets up about 1,000 shots on practice days. But Kings assistant Pete Carril, who has worked closely with Evans to improve his shooting form, isn't satisfied. "I think it's getting better," Carril told the Bee. "I wish he'd work a little harder at it because the potential for that kid is immense. There's not a thing he won't be able to do once he sets his mind to it -- I don't care what it is. Every aspect of the game, he has the potential to be good at every one, and that's not easy." So far, Evans' numbers have him in some pretty elite company. Through Tuesday, Evans and the Cavs' LeBron James are the only two players averaging 18.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game.

Nice little statistic. Also, Casspi moved up to 6th.

Thompson 14/10/2
Aldridge 15/7.5/1

LMA is a year older, and has been in the league longer.

I think it's time to change your sig. It was a crappy sig in the first place.

Word. Thompson is playing great this year. For some reason I though LMA was younger tho, not sure why. But thats interesting for sure.

just imagine what Thompson is capable of, IF he cuts down on his Greg Odenesque fouling. 4.2 per game, ugly! That is a big issue for him and i hope he starts working on this problem

To be fair, JT has improved a little in that area from last year in terms of fouls per minute. He's playing 6 more minutes and only averaged .4 more fouls per game. He still has a ways to go here though.

It's a two-way sig. You'll either be a genius or a goat. I'm just giving you some liability to what you're saying.

I honestly never knew there WAS a rookie of the month award. But it's cool that a King is finally getting some kind of recognition. Congrats to Tyreke! Keep up the good work and rookie of the YEAR just might be yours in due time.
