He looked good against Dwight and Orlando. I think that's the main reason he was brought in.

Shaq is just getting over a shoulder injury so missed some games. I personally think he's doing ok considering the Cavs offense hasn't really made an effort to run many plays for him, at least so far. I think Shaq can still be dominant in stretches..hopefully we will see that as we get closer to the playoffs.

Shaq has done fine really. Not dominant but he is filling his role.

Against teams with physical bigs he makes a huge difference, e.g. against ORL or against LA I think having him will make a world of difference. Without him we would get punked in the paint like we did last season.

With Z falling off the cliff this year imagine how screwed we'd be inside without Shaq...

Also no matter how you look at it, Shaq is playing better than Wallace/Pavs did for us...so I say it was a good trade overall.

Shaq is fine.. The Cavs are just now starting to use him more and use better spacing with him.. In fact, I wish we would utilize Shaq a little more to be honest.. He's not getting many touches..

Shaq has been playing pretty well.. His interior defense is much needed. He tends to miss shots that he normally make. However, like someone said, he should be getting more touches so he can be more effective.

He's a role player and playing pretty well.

I was worried early on that they would force too much to him. They did in the first few games and it failed miserably. Now he's settled into a role and its going well. He does everything that Ben Wallace did and then some.

He's drawing double teams on the inside which is something we haven't had before, and when we have that and move the ball the Cavaliers are unbeatable. Unfortunately the ball movement still gets bogged down a little too often, but that hasn't been Shaq's fault.

Defensively he's doing well too. He looked great against Howard. Dwight simply does not know how to deal with him because he can't eat him up from the outside like Gasol or Garnett potentially could. He is slow so there can be match up issues, but that's no worse than when Big Z is in.

With Hickson's emergence they've been able to survive without either center on the floor when the match up dictates it. With West getting back on track the depth is just absurd.
