Matt Harpring and Kyle Korver for Caron Butler?
Why for WAS, expectations were great before the season started. They made a trade to get Mike Miller and Randy Foye, and signed Fabricio Oberto to make a deep playoff run. What happened was injuries and all this talent not clicking together fast enough to start winning now. So now you have more capspace to mold this team into what you really want. Start fresh and you still have two good building blocks in Arenas and Jamison plus Young, McGee, and Blatche.
Why for Utah, both players are not playing or producing anything right now. You can take a chance and get that third scorer to teamed with Williams and Boozer now. Butler provides the scoring and that athletic wing to play with Williams. A veteran coach Sloan will love to have. When the season is over, you still have the Knicks lottery pick, capspace, and Butler's contrct only runs one more year.

Yes!!! where do i sign. Wash never does this trade as they want something for future like NYK pick and thats would be too much for another wing player which Jazz have abundence. Naybe if th Jazz through in Fess or Kosta and a second round pick then wash might do it. I would prefer to add Kosta and keep Fess.
PS The wicked witch of the Midwest, Coach Sloan, signed a 1 year extension today so my day is ruined.

Absolutely. I'm pretty sure some other team would be willing to offer more than just expirings though.

How about we go out and trade for someone that we actually need like Raja Bell.

I think he messed up his wrist and is having surgery..long term maybe..anything is trade possible for the right stuff, but can you trade an injured player? *I honestly don't know*
to the original poster's idea..maybe replace Korver with brewer/CJ or both.. hate to see good outside shooting Korver go away, we do need that..esp. when memo is out..we do need a nice balace of inside and outside and Matthews is doing great...no need to get less depth there. But CJ and Brewers outside shooting..that I don't have a problem sending off (esp. Brewer)
I'm surprised matt harping is still talking about playing another season..sounded like he was really playing through injuries last season..he's a great athlete but i'm surprised he wants to come back. Maybe being unemployed like me, he's learning how boring it can be.

Re: Would you trade
We just don't need more scoring. I think its pretty obvious from the recent lack of players that this team has too much offense/star players and not enough defensive/role player type players. We have played better with less so far this season; addition by subtraction.
Yes, Bell is having surgery but if it is not season ending why not try and go after him?

Re: Would you trade
Yes, because we can turn around and trade Butler for much better than that.
No way the Wizards give him up for a package with no keeper value in it.
