Dude enough with the negativity. Ya we aren't playing great right now, but we are still 13-4. Can you point put any positives? If you can't, I will.

1. KG is still getting his conditioning and confidence back. It's not there yet, but it's getting better.
2. Ray, Wallace, and House are in a shooting slump, once they find their strokes, we will be a lot better.
3. Davis hasn't played a single game yet, and once he returns, we will be playing better.
4. Bill Walker is also coming back from an injury and paying well in the D- League. Once he gets back, he can provide a lift off the bench, even if it's 8-10 minutes a game.

through the first 17 games of 2008-9 Celtics season:

last Celtics season: 732 rebounds or 43/gm

last season Celtics opponents 682 rebounds or 40/gm

so there was still a margin of 3 rebounds/gm even early in the season for the Celtics.

[Not sure what a 3 rebound per game margin would have ranked us last year after the first 17 games, but we would have been among the leaders.

below please find the rounding margin this year along with the full year rebounding margins for the previous 2 years.

It seems pretty intuitive that with KG recovering from injury and playing reduced minutes and Big Baby out, we we would not do as well in rebounding. As the year goes on I expect an improvement.

Return to Boston Celtics
