hope his conditioning isn't too horrible, I don't know if I can handle watching both Big Al AND Love moving around like their bodies are as dense as a neutron star...then we can roll out Jawaii too for extra torture.

I'm sure he's been running and what not. Having a hand injury is a horrible excuse for getting out of condition. They ran some vids of him working out at the game last night, he looked fit.

Whether or not his shot is rusty might be a different story, however.

I just want to see some energy in the paint and getting rebounds. I hope his hand is 100%, we don't need to see another guy that can't handle passes out there

His shot shouldn't be horrible, it might not be sharp, but at least it was his non-shooting hand.

The article says he has stayed in fine general conditioning, but he's trying to get back into basketball shape with how the physicality of the game takes a toll that you can't train for with just cardio.

Love has been participating in an extensive conditioning program to stay in shape. But he is trying to get into "basketball shape," starting with workouts with the team that began Monday.

I'll just be glad I won't have to see Hollins starting, or Gomes at PF.

This is great news. I have a reason to be excited about the current team. I like how he was quoted saying something like "I don't want to play unless I can actually help. I don't want to go out there just to log minutes."

SERIOUSLY KEVIN? You could've had the hand ripped off and replaced with a hook and still be a bigger help than Jawai or Hollins.

Kevin Love is a game changer. I predict a brilliant close to the season, we win 50 games to get into the playoffs, Kevin Love wins MVP for his 25 pt, 14 reb, 6 ast, a game.

Then I wake up LOL, and I do actually feel he will make an impact and we will be a much better team with him. We won't repeat 2-16 the next 18 games, I think that's safe to say.

How many other guys in today's league do you hear saying that. The whole patience thing has sunk all the way down from management to the players...

Man, I had this master plan to pick him up in a fantasy of mine. I was waiting until we got official word he would be back within a week. Then the day I go to grab him some other guy picked him up minutes before. I was gutted.

I've been sitting him for 5 and a half painful fantasy weeks in one of my leagues...he better be worth it...interestingly that's also a team that I have Chris Paul on...I WAS 3-0 until Paul went down, now I'm 3-2 staring 3-3 in the face...I should rebound with Love and Paul coming back.

Ah it sucks. I should have jumped on him a day or two earlier, Its just that I have a good squad right now and I didn't have any dead weight to cut easily. I also picked up Bidrens last week. He and love would have been huge. I 'd be set with rebounds. My only chance now is if Love plays poorly for a week or so and the guy that grabbed him grows tired and drops him.

I wish Klomp would have dropped Love in the 1st fantasy league. But I think his team is just there for others to pad their wins so I guess the more injured players the better.
