OT : Patriots @ Colts.

Post#1 » by BuckFan25226 » Thu Nov 1, 2007 7:02 pm

I thought this deserved it's own thread. This is the deepest two undefeated teams have faced each other into a season.

I like the Colts to win this game. Their defense is much better then last year, and their offense is still the machine it always has been. The Colts haven't played a bad team yet this year with maybe the exception of Houston, but I wouldn't consider them bad by any means.

If Tony Dungy was an arrogant, bitter coach as Mr. Hoodie is, he could be running up the score every week as well, but that's not what Dungy is about.

The combined record of the teams NE has faced is 23-35. Indy's is 27-25.

Don't get me wrong, I think New England is one hell of a team. But I just feel Indy is not getting the respect they deserve. They just walked over teams like Jax, Carolina, Denver, N.O, and TB.

Colts - 38 Patriots - 31

Agreed on all of the above. Nothing else I could add. I even like the score.

Can you please change the name of the thread to "Super Bowl 41.5"? Thanks.

I think Manning is going to play one of the smarter games we've seen out of him....instead of seeing him try and put a ton of points on the board, we may see him milk the clock, run the ball a lot, have long drives using up the time of possesssion...this time he knows that the Pats offense can and will score 30+ points jsut like the Colts, so I think he'll really try and wear down the Pats D with sustained drives and keep his defense rested/off the field...

Liek the score too.

BTW, would somebody please take Brady's head off in the next game that the PAts attempt to run up the score again...please. Shove it in Belicheck's face. This bush league act has gotta be stopped

Are you Serious, First of all they are playing in the NFL if you don't want someone to run up the score than you better play better D.

I can't believe people actually think the Colts are going to lose....I think the Pats will win by at least 14.

Just think of it this way: The Pats were about 3 dropped balls away from winning last year in the AFC championship. They havent lost any pieces but added one of the best LB's in the league, moss, welker, and stallworth. Yes I know the Colts D is better but it doesn't really matter how good there D is cause the Pats O is just that good..Anyone wanna take any bets I will give you the 5.5..name the bet.

2 titans meet, Brady ie probably my favorite QB of all time, last year NE with far less talent then they have this year came within a couple Reche Caldwell dropped passes of winning there 4th Superbowl...NE is too good even on the road...

I hate Boston fans so i hope Indy wins, don't need to hear Boston fans bragging about an undefeated season.

With that said, if i was betting on who wins, i'd take New England

Agreed. I can't stand their fans, and unfortunately I think we are going to win too.

Freddy: Hey! What the hell is this?
Waiter: [French accent] It's a bowl of chowder, sir. ["shaudere"]
Freddy: Wait a minute, come here. What did you call it? Say it loud
enough so everyone can hear. Cone on, say it...
Waiter: Ahem. Chowder. ["shaudere"]
Freddy: [raucous laughter] Shau-dere? Shau-dere? It's "chowder".
["chowdah"] Say it right!
Waiter: [pause] Chowder. ["shaudear"]
Freddy: [laugher] Come back here! I'm not through demeaning you.
