I think everyone needs to take a look at this article and stop panicking about getting rid of Obie and Ford, even if you don't like them, like me.

First of all M4E, who doesn't love you?

As for OBie, he can have all his starters back, but that wont change his coaching demeanor. He still will let a lead dwindle from 15 points down to 2 points before calling a timeout, instead of calling it at 7 or 8 points.

I don't think anyone expects our team to be great with the injuries we have had, but to use them as a crutch is a weak argument. We have only really been missing 1.5 starters. He can't say he was relying on DunDun to start considering over the summer he said he didn't expect him until January. Besides he should have an offense that works without DunDun considering we went 10 months without him. If you polled the fans after summer league, I bet half would have said Foster would start and half would say Hibbert would start and I would say each are worthy based on the team we are playing (So I will say thats a half starter missing). So the only real starter missing was Murphy.

It is the coaches job is to have an effective offense using the players he has available and he hasn't seemed to adjust our offense to losing what amounts to role players. I would understand blaming injuries if we had lost a franchise player.

As for for Ford, I think he would make an abundance of poor decisions even playing for the '92 dream team!

Sorry for the long rant!!
Do the 'Hibbie Hibbie Shake'!!

The whole lead dwindling thing is something Phil Jackson can do, but he has a great team that realizes its own mistakes. I agree that it's a bad choice for a young team like ours. We need a bit more guidance when things start to slip.
