I've been checking periodically throughout the day for WTB's game thread. Guess WTB is busy today.

This is a BIG game. If we go into SA and get a good solid win, I'll feel very good about our team. If we go in there and lose, not so much.

It's just another game......not a measuring stick or any bull like that. The C's still are not a finished deal nor are the Spurs.......C's by 3.

I think we have a good shot at winning this game. The spurs are pretty solid but with their injuries they haven't been one of the elite teams. If we can keep the momentum going of the last few games we should win this game.

I didn't say it is a measuring stick game. But its a game vs a top opponent. We've only really had 4 real quality opponents; PHX, ORL, ATL & (my mind went blank).

I just hope we come out looking inspired. I hope KG has a great game and Perk shuts down Duncan.

It wasn't posted for you nor to anyone who won't be headed to the nearest bridge if we lose tonight.
Just saying win or lose imo it's just another game....win or lose.

I don't think its a measuring stick but it's a game that I think we need to win. A 9-6 team that is coming into there own would be a nice win. It's not a crap team either.

Cleveland I would assume you're thinking of.

It's my friend's birthday and he's the biggest Spurs fan I know. I hope the Celts give him a nice birthday present today and rape that squad of sissy-boys. There's no doubt in my mind that Balki, Peppy la Poo, lil Timmy and Richard "I paid my fiance half a million bucks to keep quiet about the fact that I'm a gaylord which is why I left her at the altar" Jefferson all indulge in an all-you-can-eat hot dog buffet after games.

Looking forward to this matchup. A lot of good matchups tonight. Rondo/Parker, KG/McDyess, Perk/Duncan and Pierce/Jefferson. Should be fun to watch. The Spurs haven't played since Sunday so they should be well rested and have their legs. Spurs also have a 5 game winning streak.

Celtics in a tight one. Celtics by 1. :D

Agreed, not the end of the world if we lose, although I think the Spurs are a lot closer to who they're gonna be by the end of the year than the C's are...C's will eke out a win on the road, win by <5
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Some good matchup's. I don't recall if Perk usually is on Duncan. That's a big test right there on both ends of the floor and they you have Rondo vs Parker. I always hope Rondo can be 75% of what Parker is on offense. He came in the league a terrible shooter as well but always had that quickness and of course the teardrop in the lane.

If I recall correctly besides the last game, Duncan ussually gets all the calls against Perk! so I expect Sheed to be a major factor in this game. Also Richardson always plays great against Pierce.

Remember when the the Celtics hadn't beaten the Spurs since Tim B Dunkin was drafted? Glad that hoodoo has gone.

I would love to watch another Spurs/Celtics game like the one 2 years ago when we swept the Texas Triangle and Cassell hit the big shot. I'd love another game like that.....maybe without the God-awful first half. I just want to see a back and forth game where we make awesome plays down the stretch and show some character amidst tough circumstances.

Hopefully Rondo remembers what he's capable of and PUNKS that slimeball Parker. Can't stand him.

I love how Ray is actually going towards the basket as opposed to dribbling away this year.
