Done!

I really like Jefferson. He brings toughness. His contract is reasonable. And he's a natural PF/C

Not sure if Jefferson is the right guy.. I'd rather have Kevin Love for that package. Al Jefferson hasn't looked great so far, I'd like to see him back to normal on offense before giving up assets in a trade. He's not a great defender.. is he really the right fit?

I am just putting out feelers I really envy your team just a great young team. I think this is a great deal for you guys it adds that true power forward you need. I don't know if I make the deal speaking for the Wolves but it could help both teams. It would really depend on where the pick was and/or if we could get rid of/buyout Collison to clear cap space. I think if you add Jefferson to your core of young players you might just be able to lure a big name this offseason someone who can play SG or PF/C. Good luck to you guys.

I like Jefferson much more than Love.

Jefferson can be 20/10 guy. I tihnk Love will peak as a 14/10 guy

No no...Love fits OKC much better than Jefferson. With all of the off screens and pop ups that KD does on the floor, it will be better if the PF knew how to pass, and Love is a better distributor than Jefferson. Plus Love is the type that will not demand iso plays himself unlike Jefferson.

Jefferson only cares about scoring. No no.

You guys are making it sound like Jefferson is a me-first prick. As a Celtics fan, I've been following him closely his whole career, and will attest to the fact that he has great character. He also might be the best post scorer in the NBA and is a top-notch rebounder, particularly on the offensive end. I think his defensive struggles are largely a result of being the only big guy on the T-Wolves for the last couple years - on the Celtics he looked like he would become at least a solid defender at the PF position.

His ACL injury is worrisome, and I'm surprised he's come back so quickly. I wouldn't be surprised if he struggles a bit this whole year before coming back strong next season. Nene is an example of someone who was able to come back strong from the same injury.

I can understand your worries about the fit with KD, but its my impression that Al would be willing to make sacrifices to make it work. Would he be willing to be a 18-12 guy on a contender instead of a 25 pt scorer on an awful team? I absolutely think so. I can definitely see him as the McHale to Durant's Bird.

It never hurts to have a post-player who commands a double team, particularly one that isn't 25 years old yet. If this deal were on the table (which I guarantee it isn't), OKC would take it in a heartbeat. There's a reason why Jefferson was the centerpiece of the culture-changing KG trade and Jeff Green was the centerpiece of the Ray Allen trade, which was a nice addition.

I would do it. I'm hesitant about Al, but I'm even more hesitant about Jeff Green. And losing Collison is no biggie.

Come on. Adding AlJeff makes your team better by default. If only because you'd finally have a pf. Better yet, a body, up front. AlJeff is still one of the better big men in the game. Just look if you can add a good defender at C to play with the starting five. Even a Pachulia would do.
