Next 6 games

Post#1 » by ATL DirtyBird » Fri Dec 4, 2009 2:24 am

New York
@ Dallas
Chicago
@ Toronto
Memphis
New Jersey

Maybe just me but if we play unselfish solid basketball thats 6 wins. Mavs are the best team on the schedule of course but they have quite a bit of flaws that we can expose. What do yall think?
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Winning in Dallas will be unlikely, but possible. Toronto will want revenge. Harris/Lopez pose matchup problems for the Hawks.

3-3 is as likely as 6-0. I'd be happy with 4-2.

I think I hate playing NJ more than any other team in the league.

I know. I fully plan on us being up 20 at the half before imploding in the third quarter while Devin Harris drops 50 points and shoot 25 free throws. We can only hope they've already won a game by the time they play us...

Dallas is smoking hot right night so that will be really tough. This isn't the same New Jersey that has frustrated us in the past. I like our chances without VC on the Nets.

My current thought is to bet against the Hawks if they are facing a team that can control the boards and has a penetrating PG. Memphis is going to give the Hawks more problems than people here expect. Anyone else surprised that they are the top offensive rebounding team in the league?

I would cry if we lost to NJ of all teams.

3-3 is most likely. Already lost to NY, will lose games at Dallas and Toronto.

They can 't even beat the Knicks at home and the OP thought they could go 6-0.

The Grizz have been putting a lot of that talent together recently. They have won 7 out of their last 10 games with quality wins against Portland and Dallas over that stretch. I really do not consider them to be such an easy game for us and would not sweat a loss to them as I did the NOLA, Detroit and NY games.

The Grizzlies have been considered the joke of the league since the Gasol trade.....but their actual roster isn't that bad. They remind me of the Hawks about 2 years ago.

I've been impressed with this stretch. Hopefully we'll do well against Utah before the 4 game road trip.
