God, Rondo dominated this game on both ends and made the 2 biggest plays down the stretch to secure the win, hitting the jumper he supposedly can't hit and then showing Tony Parker how 'overrated' he is by swiping the ball out of Tony's hands just as he was going up for a layup that would have closed the gap to 2. 12/12/6/3 is a MONSTER line too.

KG continues to look great--I'm not taking anything away from him. But Rondo is the straw that stirs the drink here.
The leaks are real...the news is fake.

I'm just here for the memes.

Rondo played great, he gets my vote. KG also had a very good game...

Rondo's assists numbers were solid but honestly when I heard one of the TNT announcers say he had 12, I was pretty surprised. I thought he played decent but blended into the game for the most part, until the end, when he hit that midrange shot late in the fourth. That excited me cause that looked so smooth and natural, he did it with confidence.

Back on topic though, KG's shot was money just as it has been lately. He played nice D and distributed very well, especially to Perk and Rondo. My vote goes to him. Keep it goin big man!

Rondo. The strip was the play of the game. Also, the shot before it. And the sweet over-the-shoulder pass to Sheed to close out the 3rd. And he had 12 & 12. Him.

None of our big guys should be POG when the opponent grabs TWENTY offensive rebounds. That's disgusting.

I love Perk and he got fouled a few times when trying to lasso in an offensive board, but (a) just grab the rebound, regardless of whether you're getting hit and (b) get back on defense rather than bltch about it, Perk.

I didn't see this when I posted. Exactly. And I did watch the game.

Good win for you guys last night. Spurs still have some geling to do. RJ really didnt show up yet again. Blair played a great game...especially going against KG and Sheed.

KG played well especially in the 1st half he would get my victory cigar.

I missed the game because I actually fell asleep because of lack of sleep the last few days. Seems like KG and RR were great. KG is progressing every game back to real KG, but where is the rebounding?????Truth has been off for 2 games in a row. However, the fact that we won on the road against 2 good teams without a real contribution from Paul is a very bad sign for the NBA. We are one hell of a TEAM, and we are going to win Number 18 this year.
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

Rondo had a plus/minus of +19 in a game we won by 7 points.

He clearly won his matchup with Parker. Parker was eating House alive at the beginning of the fourth, and COMPLETELY disappeared when Rondo re-entered the game. Even the Spurs fans knew that, and we blasting Parker on their boards..

The offense rolled with him on the floor.

He made the single biggest shot of the fourth quarter.

Made the play of the game, the strip/block of Parker.

He was involved in almost every single "high light reel" play we made

He was the main reason we won this game......

yet he will not win the cigar because people who didn't watch, or understand the game, will give it to Garnett (who was admittedly great himself).

Why must it be that anyone who doesn't agree with you either didn't watch or understand the game? I watched, I understood, I thought Garnett deserved the cigar. We're all fans here, no need for condescension.

Could go with Perk, easily, KG for sure, but it all is up to Rondo and if he stays active, we're 3 times the team, so I picked Rondo.
