Lets trade for Raja Bell

Post#1 » by Patterns » Fri Dec 4, 2009 7:08 pm

Snap him up before another contender.

Seriously. I know his past with the Lakers and Kobe but he's the type of player that you want on your team. I have no doubt that he could get along with Kobe. Imagine the defense that Bell, Kobe, and Artest could bring. They could completely shut down the Celtics.

He can't play until March so he should be cheaper. He's also a 5.3million expiring. Farmar+Morrison for Bell+Watson?

hes injured. If hes not gonna be ready by March, why would you add him in our rotations come playoff time, don't make sense.

trade morrison for him.. for the warriors they still have an expiring who can actually play(since hs is not injured(not skill-wise)), and for us, morrison doesnt play anyways, and if bell can come back my the playoffs he might help us.

but i hate bell, so the warriors must give us anthony randolph with him

In a way there's really nothing to lose.

If we could get him for Morrison and a 2nd, I'd LOVE that trade.

Bell would be a fantastic fit for this team backing up Kobe (and Artest since we can slide Kobe over at the 3).

Doubt GSW will trade him to us, especially for that package though.

Gee I sorta remember this thread from a week ago or so ;)

It is a no lose for either side really doing the Morrison/Bell swap since its the same expiring basically, throw in a pic for GS to make the deal worth it for them...

1. Its not like Morrison is going to play any mins for us in the playoffs/late season
2. Warriors are probably not going to make the playoffs and could use another body
3. Would you like to see this guy end up with SA or Cle? I wouldn't...
4. Lets face it, draft picks ain't going to to anything for use next few years unless we get really lucky.
