Victory Cigar Cs Crush Thunder Perfect Road Trip

Post#1 » by exculpatory » Sat Dec 5, 2009 3:16 am

Cigar as stated is Truth beast first half - 21 points 6R 4A which got us an 11 point lead VS. KG beast Q3 with 23 points 8R 3A which broke it open further. Honorable mention to RR for 15 points 6A and 4 steals mostly in the third quarter I think.

I want to go to bed, so I did this early. :0)

I LOVE THIS TEAM.
I WILL BE SITTING IN THE SECOND ROW BEHIND WIZ BENCH THURSDAY NITE.
WE ARE WINNING THIS CHAMPIONSHIP, GODDAMIT.
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

Nah. It was a done deal up 23 with 3-4 minutes to go.

I am watching Nets. I feel badly for them. Tied with 2 minutes to go.

Somewhat agree that this should really go up after the win is recorded. Regardless, I'll give my vote to KG. He's been on a shooting tear recently and tonight was no different, 23 points on 10-11FGs, 8 rebounds and 3 assists.

Can you tell New Jersey wants to win badly? Harris just dived 5 rows into the stands and their up 9 with 1 minute left..

You really think it is bad mojo? If so, I will not tempt fate again.

Looks like they will win. Good for them. Now they can lose another 18 straight. I rooted for them for 5 minutes. That is their quota for the season. They will have LeBron next year, you know.

And I give Harris a 7.5 for his "dive" into the stands. LOLOL.

Pierce's 1st half does it for me.

Put us out in front and in control.

It's Pierce for me. KG did better statistically but a lot of that was due to Rondo and awful defense. Paul was hot in the first and we took a double digit lead then never looked back.

Wasn't Red famous for lighting up his cigar before the game had ended? In that spirit, I approve..

The C's have been playing extremely well, but the cigar tonight goes to Good Luck, or Good Karma, or whatever - this was a game where all those shots fell that on other night would rim out, calls went the Celtics' way, etc.

KG has been on a shooting tear. Ya'll should look at his FG% the past 5 or 6 games. Its insane.

Just woke up and saw Kobe's gamewinner. I hate the Fakers, but this guy is a phenomenal athlete and closer. Finals will be epic! And of course we will prevail.

Loscy, don't you just love these Hemmingway-like contributions to our discourse? Can you translate what this erudite gentleman just said? What does "dome me" mean in English?

You have been warned, no go away and stay away or you will be gone for good. I have been on a tear lately and I am not in the holiday spirit yet. Canman.

Garnetts shooting spree continues, 23 points on 10/11, 100% FT :o NBA should prohibit whatever alien drugs KG is on
Who would win one-on-one in HORSE?

Bird: Nobody beats me in H-O-R-S-E. Besides, Magic cant shoot.

Magic: Larry, you'd have no chance against me one-on-one. I've got too many ways to beat you. Plus, as slow as I am, I'm still faster than you.

I am going with KG. Great game by our starting 5 but our bench is out of form ATM, Daniels especially...
