Why is that?

Because he has no cartilage/ACL's in his knees. So he apparently is only supposed to be able to last for 4 years max. However, I am not a doctor and that is only what I read.

Wow that's crazy. Is there any type of surgery that could repair that cause that's a shame for such a talented athlete

I've never read anything about lack of cartilage, just the ACL thin, and that he can play a loooooong time if he is diligent in exercising his other leg muscles to stand the strain and spread the workload around. I think it's monkey-see, monkey-do - word came out about it late, people shied off and then everyone else was afraid.
I hope he plays 20 years and makes the HOF. Really - the draft combine, the individual workouts for team after team and it really comes down to a guess where Kwame Brown or some other stiff goes high and some perennial all-star ends up halfway down the 2nd round.
Experts give me a sharp pain.

I still like Clark, he really hasn't had enough time to show his potential. Blair fell because he's got a lot of wear and tear on his knees. His career will probably be a short one.

Not at 15. If we could've moved up in the second round, though, definitely.

No.

Nobody expected Blair to actually be this good because of his health issues but what's done is done and I think Clark is still good enough. I think we should have picked Clark either way.
