Denver/Chicago Trade Prop.

Post#1 » by pickIBL » Sat Dec 5, 2009 6:45 am

Since crazy trade talk has started. The Bulls are looking towards free agency down the road and Hinrich's contract stands in the way. Plus they are talking Thomas trade.

Kmart, Balkman, Allen, Graham, Carter,Petro, and 1st for Hinrich, Brad Miller, and Ty Thomas works

Not sure how the lineup would work. But you make a deal... and keep flexibility. The Bulls like it because it clears up their cap for 2011 and they get a pick... and they are looking to move Thomas.

Brad Miller, Birdman
Nene, Ty Thomas, Sean Williams
Melo, JR Smith
Afflalo, Hinrich
Billups, Lawson

TPE Sean Williams, sign a D leaguer and wait for someone decent to get bought out/waived.

You get your 7 footer in Miller and his contract expires over the summer.

Good return value but thing is we can't have Hinrich not starting when we still have Billups... as a bench player I think Hinrich production is always under what he's capable of, so he's always performing horrible. To be effective, at this point of his career, Hinrich needs to start. As a bench player he doesn't have that explosiveness to produce burst pts in little minutes like for example J.R. can... and him being on the bench will stall Ty's development. I really like Hinrich's defense though and in the playoffs, he's locked in and focused to play.

And Tyrus can't replace KMart. He's even more inconsistent than KMart and doesn't pride himself in defense.

Replace Tyrus with Noah, heck yeah I'll do it.

No way in heck the Bulls do it with Noah included. I actually don't see why the Bulls do it to begin with. If they want to move Hinrich's salasy, they could easily find a taker.

So Denver a team that just went to th western conference finals and currently winning 75% of their games trades a starter, a 1st round pick, and most of their bench for an overpaid combo guard, a declining backup center, and a bust? Where do they sign up?

The Rebel has a clear point.

Only move our team would make is to dump Petro + Allen or Graham or Balkman to get legit 7 footer if there is an opportunity comes up. AC will stay as Karl's insurance on PG spot. None of those Brand, Gortat, & Brad would fit in better than Martin in our fierce attack type system. I like Noah.

As for Martin's situation i think team will wait till his contract expires and then try to extend him with less money suitable to match his value at that time. i have a strong hunch we will try to land a big piece in this MEGA free agency coming up!

All those who are talking about J.R : If he is destined to fulfill his potential ever, the time is near. He will become steady contributor coming off the bench for us about midway through this season IMO.
