I know Prince is good, but there are other possibilities to add a sf of his qualities.

Trading Kaman would also mean that DeAndre Jordan is the only center left on the Clippers next season, as Kaman would be gone and Camby's most likely headed to a contender as well.

Therefore Camby, not Kaman, should be the guy to use if we try to upgrade the sf spot.

Keep Kaman.

If they can get Prince for Butler, Davis, Collins, and Rush then I'd say go for it.

Camby, Thornton, 1st round pick(either our own, or that Wolves pick)

for

Igoudala, Brezec

http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.ph ... id=5307048

Our lineup:

Davis/Telfair
Gordon/Collins
Igoudala/Butler
Griffin/Smith
Kaman/Jordan

Thoughts?

I'd probably want to swap Brezec out and replace him with Jason Smith, but this trade would have some merit. I also wouldn't be willing to add the Minny pick, it would have to be the Clippers own pick. Igoudala fills up the stat sheet, with scoring, rebounding and assists. He is also very durable and a good defender. Weaknesses would be a fairly low 3 point shooting percentage and the fact that he isn't as long as the average NBA SF but he makes up for it with high level athleticism.

How about  about that one?

There might have been a chance for something like this during the summer, but not this time around.

We would need a legit center in return, there's no one on the Cavs roster I'd want other than LeBron James and I'm sure the Cavs aren't going to trade him
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

BTW, just a quick tought:

The Bulls are looking for a post player who can score. They also were down on Deng and his contract.

Here is an idea:

Noah + Deng

for
Kaman + Thornton

BD
EJ
Deng
Griffin
Noah

Rose
Salmons
Thorn
TyThomas
Kaman

Won't happen though, but might also increase the chances for Bron to go to Chicago. And Deng is overpaid.

Hickson plays the same position as Griffin?

The picks are nice if Bron leaves the Cavs this summer hehehe

Camby for Ronnie Brewer / Matt Harpring (expiring added to make salaries match)

Brewer is a good defender that can play both shooting guard or small forward. Like Camby he is an expiring contract. Thoughts?

The only thing I want from the Jazz is the Knicks pick. Figure out what you want excluding Griffin and Gordon, for that pick and we can deal.

With the Knicks pick going to the Clips.

I actually like the idea of getting Kevin Martin, if we can get a new coach to run a fast uptempo style. But instead of Camby and Ricky, I would replace them with Kaman. We don't need to add more salary/years. Camby and Ricky are expiring. Besides, SAC needs a low post scorer like Kaman and another white boy on the team. haha

Seriously, I like what the Maloofs are doing in SAC town. They hired a good run and gun coach in Westphal and has a lot of good young talent like Evans, Martin, Hawes, Greene, and Garcia. They just need a legit C and they'll be alright.

I think Kevin Martin for Kaman will help both teams and contractually, they make the same.
