That sucks bad for Oden. He seems like a good guy. Makes it even worse when it happens to good people.

Durant is a big guy (Al Jefferson's height) with extreme atheletism and great outside shooting touch as well

it appears that Greg Oden may be done for the season again as he was carried off the court on a stretcher with a KNEE injury

man............you wonder if Portland selected Kevin Durant 1st overall, what kinda team would they have now....

Damn. Hopefully it aint that bad.

Hmmm... I think you're missing the point I was trying to make. Sure, Durant is tall... But he doesn't play like a "big guy". Durant spends most of his time on the perimeter. I'm not hating on Durant... In hindsight Durant would have been the right pick. At the time however, Oden was the correct choice. He's 7'0 almost 300 pounds. Probably the most athletic "big man" since Shaq came out. Everyone agreed that he was a can't miss prospect. It's just really hard to anticipate a player's future tendencies for injuries.

I see your point now
I completely agree then
at that time even the wolves are in desperate need of a good center like Oden....

Dude, that's messed up. I hate ppl who get the whole "injury prone" label. All Oden does is everything he can and he gets hurt a lot. Nothing he can do about it. Good luck and get well soon Greg.

I wish I could've watched the game tonight by the way. Sounds like the addition of Kevin Love along with the good play of Gomes is helping us out. Hopefully we can pick up some more wins here in the near future.

well injury prone is injury prone. guy is going to get hurt sooner or later, no it is not his fault, but you know it will happen. doesn't matter how hard they try or how nice.

Matt Harpring, great guy, good teamate, tries hard every time he touches the court, he is going to miss team each year, and its a promise. INJURY PRONE

Stockton/Malone, two of the biggest jerks on the court (Stockton was super nice outside of the game, Malone was kind of a dick off the court though, met him once and he refused to give an autograph because his "hand was tired" after a game) and neither of them really missed any time until Malone got kicked in the balls by karma by going to LAL

Ellington has really been stepping it up the last few games. They keep subbing him in for Brewer though, and I'd really like to see how those 2 play on the wing together instead.

Ellington can dribble, that alone should get him 30 mpg.

Speaking of Brewer, I got really nervous on that fastbreak; I was sure he'd lose the handle, then when he took off, I thought he took off too early again and was gonna dunk off the front of the rim, but it turned out to be a nice flush.

Nice to see Ellington gaining some confidence. It can be so tough for a young shooter to find their rhythm when they are playing inconsistant minutes.

I think the same thing everytime on see him on a fastbreak. I can't get the thought of him bricking dunks his rookie year out of my head. He's been rimrocking this year though, lots of authority.

Ellington has underrated athleticism as well. I'm intrigued by a lineup of Flynn-Ellington-Brewer. Those 3 have the potential to be lockdown defenders which is exactly what we need with a questionable defensive front court.

1. Did anyone else notice that during some lame call against Love, the music played was Tina Turner's "Whats LOVE got ta do with it?" Seriously funny stuff.

2. Jim Pete was kinda a d-bag tonight. If I was a huge Jazz fan I would've been pretty ticked at his remarks toward guys like Deron Williams and Matthews. At one point they said Ronnie Brewer was a 2nd round pick, and Deron was awful his rookie year, among other things. I'm usually very impressed with how unbiased the Wolves TV announcers are. I hope it was a one game mishap.

3. Retro will forever be awesome. Those jerseys looked really nice. Love's looked a little big, did he lose weight?

4. I'd like to agree with all of those who commented on the anxiety involved with Corey Brewer leading a fast break. He could never mess another one up, but I'll still get flash backs of dread coupled with the feeling that there is a 96% chance he f's it up. It seems like that lanky 6'9 body makes it difficult to control the ball almost all the time. He has been doing much better as of late, and I believe he can keep it up.

5. Al looked like Zach Randolph tonight. Shot the ball what seemed like a thousand times when there was nobody even close for a rebound if he missed. He seemed like a non factor for 75% of the game. That plea to the god's with the raised hands after the and 1 was pretty funny though.

6. Wayne Ellington reminded me of a poor man's Ray Allen tonight. Flynn reminded me of Gilbert Arenas (when Gilbert Arenas played like Gilbert Arenas~ that 1st 3 had sick range).

7. Overall it was an amazing win. K-Love really improves this TEAM.
8. MAKE SOME DAMN FREE THROWS!
"Llevaré mi talento a Minnesota".
