PG: Bears beat the tanking Rams

This team is pathetic...and I'm not talking about the Rams who were obviously tanking.

I've got to agree on the tanking call - that late 3rd and 11 run call just made it obvious.

Rams were a Bulger away from beating us.

Jamar Williams and Payne were bright spots.

STOP THAT WR SCREEN CRAP ALREADY. We don't need 4 of those a game.
Turn down for what?

Very underwhelming win against a very underwhelming team.

Way too conservative offensive series during the Bears last drive to give the Rams a chance to possibly score.
A plea for post scoring is a plausible Bulls plan, but plainly isn't a priority. In response to a post player's dismay about his lack of points in the paint, Paxson said.... "I'm not nearly as concerned about the offensive stuff as he is."

Awesome. We won. That means Denver won't get a good pick!

Let's keep it up.

Gaines Adams was inactive today due to performance. Another wasted draft pick by Angelo.

Gilbert was active but I didn't see much of him.

Instead of watching this debacle of a game I took my wife to see The Blind Side.

Man, I wish we drafted Micheal Oher.

Remaining games:
VS Green Bay Packers
@ Baltimore Ravens
VS Minnesota Vikings
@ Detroit Lions

Best case 9-7, worst case 5-11.

Detroit will not be easy. They always play the Bears very well at their place. We could possibly be seeing a 5-11 finish. That would be ugly.

The Rams aren't tanking. They're just that bad. They wouldn't have been playing a beat up Steven Jackson, Atogwe (who was injured during the game), and Leonard Little if they were putting their worst out there with the intent to lose. Besides, there is absolutely no incentive to tank in the NFL because top 5 picks are a bane more than a curse due to the high cap figures they carry for unknown quantities.

If we actually had our draft pick, I wouldn't object to tanking for Suh out of Nebraska. That guy is going to dominant for a LONG time.

The Lions game will probably decide whether or not Lovie keeps his job. We'll lose the rest up until then, then go into Detroit with a 5-10 record, thoroughly out of the playoffs. If we beat the Lions, Lovie might hold on for another year under the guise that "hey, we ended up on a good note." If Lovie loses to a 2-13 or 3-12 Lions team, Cliff Levingston could actually see him being fired.

Of course, the above is the reality of the situation, ICLO. If we had any desire to win games, Lovie would be fired no matter what.

Most uninteresting win since...well, whey they beat the Browns.

That statement pretty much sums up the season.
How far we have fallen. I'm disgusted that this statement is evenly closely accurate. And my guess is that you are dead right.
