I expect our young guys to improve as the season goes on. Big Al had a miraculously quick return from the knee injury so he's going to get better as well.

If our core stays healthy, we're a better team than New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, Golden State, and Indiana.

I disagree on a few of them...

New Jersey is and the wolves will be close, they are just now fully healthy it could go either way, they have talent with Lopez, Harris, CDR, alston, lee.

Philadelphia also I like to win more games. Iverson coming back should help, also when they get speights/lou williams back they should roll. They have talent.

Golden State- This one could go either way, should be close with wolves.

I like Indiana more. Granger/Hibbert/dunleavy/Murphy/Hansborough...they are a rugged team, but of course we could pass them up, I'm not betting on it though.

New york is also hot, they have a couple big wins, even beat Phoenix and Atl on the road, duhon and Al harrington are starting to play ball, and Danilo is getting it.

We will be in the mix I believe healthy or not healthy for a top 5. Utah was a solid win, but at home, i expect us to win some of these games, like any nba would.

I hope you're right. I'll be disappointed if we don't come away with John Wall, Derrick Favors, Evan Turner, Cole Aldrich, or Wesley Johnson.

I'd also not bother packaging up. Shotgun method.

Turner is the best fit by far for the wolves.

I'm starting to think this Wesley Johnson fellow could be just what we need too.

Second half, I'm not sure if it's because the team was pressing or his cramps, but he got sloppy. He had 8 turnovers, which is way too many.

Wall's first 10 minutes were ridiculous. He looked like someone combined the best parts of Rubio and Derrick Rose into the same body.

He was obviously limited by the cramps in the 2nd half, he was limping noticeably.

he reminded me of dwayne wade...the first 10 minutes..

the way he was taking it to the basket, like a freight train, 1 on 1 when its him a defender and the basket....that defender stands no CHANCE!

He's GONE!

Insert Rudy Gay and you've got yourself a team!!

With Charlotte's and/or Utah's picks I've got my eyes on Larry Sanders, Paul George, Greg Monroe, Soloman Alabi, Jarvis Varnado, and Kyle Singler. It's shaping up to be a good draft to have multiple picks.

I think it's very possible we will only have our own pick, possibly utah's.

Don't forget about 3 picks in the 2nd round. We'll probably end up trading a few of them. We better not trade picks for cash though, that's the biggest slap in the face to a fanbase. Atleast trade them for future 2nd rounders.

We already traded two of them, for Chucky Atkins, so for cash.

Well not exactly, Atkins is an expiring contract which can be used to aquire other assets. Trading picks for cash on the other hand just puts money into an owner's pockets. Doesn't really have anything to do with the salary cap in that case.

Atkins was already cut, we trade other expiring to get him. Only a portion of his contract was guaranteed. I forget how much it was exactly, but we saved a couple million on the deal.

We do not own our 2nd round pick this year. It is going to OKC. Most likely the only 2nd rounder we will have will be Houston's.
