OT-Greg Oden

Post#1 » by khoffman3113 » Sun Dec 6, 2009 5:21 am

Oden is done for the year. Has anyone else seen what happened tonight? That injury was just awful and I wish him the best of luck. He was just starting to come on strong.

I saw it. Thats freaking terrible. I feel bad for the dude. MIssed his rookie season, plays a season, misses whole season. Ugh. Gotta feel bad for him, and the blazers.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

I saw that.

I would literally cry as a Blazer fan seeing a player like Oden down again. You just can't help but feel bad for the guy. The Blazers were one of my teams that I had kept an eye on but it is a shame they lost a talent in Oden again.

The kid has high character. Very humble to everyone. A nice guy in general. Why things happen to guys like him? They don't deserve that. They just don't.

I hope Oden a speedy recovery and my heart goes to the Blazer fans. This sucks.

Injuries do happen when you're 67 years old!

Joking aside, I do feel for Oden, the Blazers and their fans. We Kings fans know what it's like when one of your big time players go down. It's a crummy feeling.

This isn't gonna be nice so go ahead and flame me.

I feel bad for Oden as a player to have to go through this. However, it's nice that for once it isn't OUR team that is getting socked with a bad injury to a key player. Let someone else deal with it for once.

the only thing that is -relatively positive- for Oden is that it's his other knee, not the one with the microfracture surgery

Kenny Thomas, 2nd for Oden

Kings get our backup center but have to wait a while.

Kidding aside I really do feel terrible for Blazer fans and Big Greg.

Reminds me of how bad webbers snap was, only odens happened before he carried his team far. Hopefully he recovers better than webber did

As unfortunate as it is, I think this is going to be the thing for Oden's entire existence in the NBA.

I don't remember the specific names off the top of my head but I know there have been other promising guys that just couldn't stay healthy enough to live up to their potential.

I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt I am.
