I played a quick game online the other day and nearly smashed my TV.

The guy had a crappy overall record and I shut down Peterson on the first drive and scored on my first play on a slant to Devery Henderson.

However, my next few offensive drives I got screwed on lag once trying to snap and accidentally lofting to X for a pick 6 and another play where I had somebody wide open but threw it too early for pick 6.

Then he gets the ball back and methodically goes to 2 backs out of the shotgun with Peterson and Tahi.

Every single play was just a flat route with both of them. He went to Tahi 75% of the time. It was indefensible. I would spread out OLB's to chase them in man with no luck. Then I went to Dime and Quarter but still couldn't chase them down with DBs. Then I played a zone but nobody covered that part of the field. Then I ran a wide zone and ran the pre-play widen secondary option. Still, Tahi and Peterson got outside for quick dumpoffs and ran for a minimum of 7 yards every play.

If I manually chased one of them down with one of my guys, he'd simply toss it the other way.

My offense was clicking and I scored a few possessions in a row but I honestly quit on him. The kid deserved it.

You weren't jobbed any more than I was... I was screwed on that fumble that you recovered considering my lineman fell on the ball.

Also, when you keep rifling the ball at the running backs they will have some drops. Thats what receivers are for ;)

In fact I think your recievers were thrown to like twice the whole game.

I was more referencing to the fact that I was without McNabb cause the game I had the week before was simmed.

That hurt me a lot. VY was horrible for me and I didn't really trust him throwing to WR's. I knew I was in for a bad day when I saw #10 out there instead of McNabb.

I absolutely hate when you get the double X thing because of the lag. It's turrible. Sometimes you get games like that, it's just wierd.

Sources say flames was talking smack about going undefeated. Whoops.

So whats the deal with Mcnabb, is he hurt?

If you have him back when we play again it will definitely be a totally different game. I was definitely fortunate to get a win with how bad my offense was/ how good your defense was.

GJ's connection died at the very end of the last game and he had to sim it. McNabb got hurt in the sim.

Hey GJ, for some reason It won't let me and (packers 99) the lions play. We'll both be in the waiting room and be ready, but I can't see his side say ready and he can't see mine. Anyways after about a minute it says your opponent has left the match. This has happened every time we've tried to play madden online, and for some reason I thought it might work in an online franchise but no luck. So im not sure what to do? Im guessing simming it is the only option.

Sorry, I was gone this weekend.

This league is starting to fall apart. I don't know how to handle the technical issues we've seen. It seems like we're simming a user game or two each week because they are having technical issues.

So are we going to try and get this league going again?

Lets start simming the week every 7 days and if anyone wants to join in they should.

I don't know It'd be nice if the GJ would respond though. This league was really fun and it would be a shame if we wasted time starting it up only to have it fall apart 6 games in. Weren't we planning on at least getting through one season?

My bad, I've been in Tuscon, Chicago, New York, and San Diego over the past 3 or 4 weeks. I'll sim it ahead sometime tonight or something.

Last time I checked was a week and a half ago and I didn't sim because there were still user games to play.

Alright just sim it when you can. there is still some user games to play including mine, but it wouldn't let me play so just sim it. As for the other user games they've had almost a month to play their game so just sim the week. Like showtime suggested we should start to sim the week every 7 days.
