Trade: Aldridge for Tyreke Evans?

Post#1 » by mmierz01 » Sun Dec 6, 2009 11:02 pm

This was offered to me in my Yahoo Head-to-Head league, should I trade away Aldridge for Evans?

This is what my team looks like right now:

Devin Harris
Stephen Jackson
Kevin Love
LaMarcus Aldridge
Jason Thompson
Pau Gasol
Luis Scola
Emeka Okafor
Amar'e Stoudemire
LeBron James
Tony Parker
Rashard Lewis
O.J. Mayo

what do you guys think??

You are pretty heavy on big men so you could certainly afford to move Aldridge and Evans looks like he will probably overtake Jennings for rookie of the year. It definitely wouldn't hurt you to have a guard like him and it's equal value in talent... but the big downside is that Aldridge is probably going to see a very significant upgrade in his stats now Oden is done for the season. How are you doing so far this year? What categories do you need help in?

Martin is only out another month or so Evans will take a bit of a hit but I see the two of them plyaing together a lot since Evans has proven he deserves the time. It's a tough call man. Evan is solid but Aldridge could start putting up Bosh-lite #'s pretty soon like he did at the end of the season last year. Let us know what areas you need help in and it would be easier to make a call.

Tyreke won't keep 20+ plus a game and LMA is on his way up. I like Aldridge here.

Evans is inflated cuz of martins injury, Oden just went out meaning more touches for LA.

Personally id either keep LA or ask for more.

Tyreke Evans for me.

He'll still be solid when Kmart returns.

I'd take Tyreke. I've owned both. Traded Lamarcus for Ray Allen (great trade). You will be buying Tyreke at an all-time high and sellingn Lamarcus at an all-time low. but Lamarcus hasn't impressed this season and I love Tyreke's game. I'd say it's all about what you need here.

With Oden out and Martin back... I think it'd be great time to keep LMA.
