Ok I checked the TradeChecker and this trade would work.
Toronto gets:
KThomas
Noc
Donte
1st round pick 2010
1st round pick 2011
Sac gets:
Bosh
For Sac this makes sense obviously. We get the All Star post player to go along with Evans and Martin and our team is set for a 5 year championship run. (pending Bosh extension)
Toronto is going to lose Bosh anyways, so they get stability at the wing in Noc and some talent and explosiveness in Donte plus a more then likely top 15 pick to go along with their top 15 pick and a 2011 1st rounder. And of course Kennys expiring contract.
The only way this would work if Bosh signed an extension because we would not want a half season rental. Do you think Bosh would sign an max salary extension knowing he would probably play the rest of his career is Sac?
Hawes
Bosh
Garcia
Martin
Evans
with Thompson, Casspi, Udrih as our primary reserves.

Re: TOR/SAC Trade Idea
#1: Can't trade consecutive 1st round picks
#2: Bosh wouldn't resign here so we're basically giving up Greene + picks for a half season of him.

no chance for an extension.
no trade.
that's the deal killer for just about any bosh trade out there - including this one.

Re: TOR/SAC Trade Idea
As rpa & others have stated Bosh likely would not resign so to trade for him is pointless !

A Kings trades thread wouldn't hurt IMO.
Toronto won't trade Bosh for this package. Far from terrible or awful for the Kings even without extension.

I won't argue that...but there's been 2-3 new threads about a specific trade. That's what the trade board is for.

Re: TOR/SAC Trade Idea
This WAAYY too much for Bosh who is 1) not that impact of a player and 2) unlikely to agree to an extension IN WRITING before FA and 3) takes away enough from the Kings to make it pointless.
I would sub Garcia for wither Noc or Greene as by giving both in one deal we lose both sides of our depth at SF right now, and no more than ONE #1 pick and that needs to be top 3 protected.
Bosh is just going to command far less value when and if traded because it is clear that he is unlikely to stay unless his destination is Chicago, Miami or New York.
