And I remember how desperate the Celtics to get this man and they almost give everything. Fortunately the GOOD WINDS strike on our side and we already start harvesting and to harvest more our good plant. :)

feel bad for oden. DO NOT feel bad for blazers fans. i know realgm isn't "all" fans of one team, but can anyone recall lotto selection night. where the celtics board had to be locked down completely because of portland fans laughing at us and saying "that's what u get for tanking"

well "that's what u get for acting like jackasses that u got lucky and got oden"

I can and I hear ya. I was never a fan of taking this kid and I don't think Ainge would have taken him over Durant, I think he may have tried to make a deal not just take Durant 1 but all the same I don't feel for anyone in the situation.

Sad news. I hope he beats what appear to be lengthening odds.

I know both of our teams and our fan base are hated by most fans only because of our success, but I have to agree with you on this even though I feel sorry for Odone.

I actually recall when Ariza commited that foul on Rudy when Rudy went down and they made a big scene by getting a strecher out with the meck brace and specially showing the clip of that foul over and over again when we went back to the garden but to top it off right after Bynum went down the Blazer fans called Bynums injury a payback for Arizas SO CALLED "Dirty play" which wasnt and Bynum taking a cheap shot on Wallace a karma payback. How classless and totally unneccessary.

Thats why I dont feel bad for their fans. I do for Oden but not for their fans. That org is jinxed.

I'm with Darth.

I remember during that draft, EVERYONE was lauding Pritchard for being a genius for drafting Oden and trading for Rudy Fernandez.

I thought he was way overrated from the beginning and wish those same pundits would have to guts to admit that they were wrong to annoint Pritchard the next great basketball GM. The Oden pick speaks for itself and Rudy Fernandez is a spot up three point shooter.

Don't even get me started on the dumb Andre Miller signing.

So at what point do they consider trading him?

If I was the Blazers I'd try to trade him now while he still has the potential.

Don't forget, they turned Sam Bowie into Buck Williams and made the finals 2 of the next 3 years. Should have won those times too, they had the better teams but choked against Chicago, at least.

I was wondering how they got Williams for Bowie anyway...they had to throw in the #12 pick (which became Mookie Blaylock.)

How about drinking more milk. It does a body good.

Kaman should too.

Two weeks ago would have been ideal. right now he is damaged goods. I think the let him get health, again, then try to trade him. But who knows made a rebuilding team would take him.

I was kinda scared off the guy when I heard he had unequal leg sizes. This is a red flag for bad genes or a poor enviroment - and likely both. Seems cruel but its not what you want in a multi-million dollar athlete.

I think he is doomed to be injured forever and fall out of the league like a Ralph Sampson..

Oden is Sam Bowie v2.0 in every way..or Bill Walton, except Walton was able to hold it together for a handful of seasons to win 2 titles and get into the HOF
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
