I would think that something like

Wall/Sessions(or Flynn)
Wesley Johnson (or Xavier Henry)/Ellington
Gay/Brewer (or Gomes)
Love/Pekovic(or a rookie like Monroe/Cousins/Varnado)
Jefferson/Haywood/Hollins

Would be more reasonably attained. And I would be pretty excited.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Throw in a Dwight Howard and a LeBron James and I'll consider it. If not, pass.

why would we trade wall, you would think this team wouldnt be making stupid decsions like this
if we get the no 1 pick we pick wall no questions asked, imo if we get the 2nd ill be willing to give flynn just to trade up to the 1st pick
wall imo will be better than rose

Build a team around Wall, kevin love, and Joe Johnson.....yeah i like that.....

Use Flynn/Rubio/Jefferson/Gomes/Brewer and other picks owed to us to fill out the Rest of the roster via trade or what not.

I think those are 3 guys I'd like to build around ...if we were to attain the #1 pick and John Wall.

Forget about Al Jefferson, I wouldn't trade John Wall by himself for Evan Turner and Brook Lopez. OK, I'm not quite sure if that's true but I'm not sure that it's not true.

This franchise has never had a #1 pick. If we actually get one, we definitely shouldn't trade it away, as much as I like Lopez and Turner. Jefferson, Flynn/Rubio, Pekovic can all be used to acquire another big piece.

I'm probably the only poster who prefers Jefferson apparently.

As for Wall vs Turner. I'll take either! Turners the better fit by leaps and bounds imo. Draft turner. Sign or Trade for a SF.

+a lot

Doesn't anyone think that if we keep Wall we won't be able to get fair value for Flynn, Rubio, Sessions? First of all, there's not many teams that need a PG that could provide fair value. Secondly, if I was another GM, I'd see the MASSIVE logjam at PG for the Wolves and would feel like I had all the leverage.

BTW, Jefferson is a pretty good basketball player.

No one is saying Jefferson isn't a good basketball player (at least I'm not saying that). But this team won 24 games last year and three so far this year. Nobody should be completely off the table. I'd trade Jefferson for an equally (or more) talented wing like a Granger or maybe Iggy. I've never advocated trading him just for the sake of trading him. If you can't get good value that improves your team, you keep him.
