MIN-MIA

Post#1 » by ritt0093 » Tue Dec 8, 2009 7:51 pm

MIN in/MIA out:
Michael Beasley (SF)
Dorell Wright (SF)

MIN out/MIA in:
Ryan Gomes (SF)
Ramon Sessions (PG)
Nikola Pekovic (C)

Why for MIN:
Get Beasley with the thought of putting him at the SF position. His athleticism would be nice, and it also allows MIN to free up cap space to allow for a MAX contract. I personally don't view Pekovic as a fit on this team with Jefferson and Love already. He would be more likely to come over to a Miami team with Wade established.

Why for MIA:
Give up the potential filled young guy for 2 very solid players on good financial long term contracts. This upgrades their starting PG without a huge downgrade in SF. All three players still work with their most likely FA scenario (re-sign Wade, and sign Bosh).

PG: Sessions
SG: Wade
SF: Gomes
PF: Bosh
C: Pekovic

This team balances VERY well with Sessions and Gomes knowing their roles. Pekovic is also the banger that Bosh isn't.

Can't tell you if I want to do this trade or not.

Beasley has loads of potential but his attitude is a big headcase

Id rather have Beasley than Rudy Gay. That doesn't mean I like this trade though.

I'd absolutely do it. I'd be surprised if Miami showed any interest though.

Same thoughts. Don't think this trade is realistic.

Yeah, Miami wouldn't trade Beasley for that package.

They would probably demand one out of Flynn, Jefferson, Love, in any trade for Beasley.
