Time for Spurs to Rebuild!!

Post#1 » by HolyToledo » Tue Dec 8, 2009 5:46 am

I am a Utah Jazz fan and the Spurs remind me of the Jazz when Stockton and Malone were close to retirement just hoping for oen last shot at winning it. Clearly, the spurs are a 7th or 8th seed in the West. The Jazz need a veteran leader on their team and they appear to be good trade partners.

Spurs get: Ny Knick #1 pick owned by Jazz (likely John Wall or Derrick Favors), Memo Okur, Korver (expiring contract), Harpring (expiring contract covered by insurance), and Kost Koufus (19 year old center with some skills)

Jazz get Duncan and Ratliff

Spurs then trade away Ginobili to another contender for young talent.

Jazz fans hate giving away the NYK pick but Duncan is worth it.
Spurs hate to trade away Duncan but getting alot in this trade.

Spurs fan's thoughts? Is Duncan untradeable?
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

lol rebuild that funny. The spurs suck right now so what. Plenty of time to get adjusted. Now you hear me saying that after 60 games into the season then we are in big trouble.

3 losses in a row again is not promising. When you have bonner put up 28 pts when this team has soo many offensive weapons there are issues.

Dont get ahead of yourself jazz fan worry about making the playoffs.

The knicks are on a hot streak and there are 4 worse teams than them right now. I wouldn't count on the Jazz getting Wall, Toledo.

Otherwise this honestly would help the Jazz become a contender for the next few years if Boozer leaves, although I hope he stays.

The Spurs, on the other hand, aren't likely to ever part with Duncan and you can't blame them. I mean I see your points but it just isn't going to happen.

No just no. We're off to a slow start but don't look into it too much. We've added alot of new players and we have a complex system that takes a while too learn. This team just needs a little more time to gel.

Duncan is untradeable and he's going to retire a Spur. I really wish people would stop coming here with trade offers for Duncan its not gonna happen.

Maybe when that pick becomes solid #1 or else not even worth a talk. TD = Spurs for life!

Wow, I'd have to run to San Antonio and smack everybody in its front office if it gave away all of that talent to a division rival! :) Utah would be guaranteed a title and Portland fans like myself would cringe.
