No, bjax is completely right IMO. Kevin Martin is quickly becoming one of the most underrated playrs is the league.

Easy, base your rate on the time he was on the floor.

No, I just really am tired of people calling for everyone to get traded for nothing as soon as we play minutely good without them. Did we not learn from the Webber Trade? Bibby Trade? We do not need to press the panic button. I mean the guy can drop 30 pts taking 10 shots or so consistently, and people want to trade him for players that are like 8th or 9th options. What is the point?

Although this is somewhat reactive, I tend to feel the same way. We are talking about a guy who is one of the top ten scorers in the NBA and the proposed deals are a joke. What compounds it is the Sac fan attitude that somehow we do not need him.

Re: Post Your Kevin Martin Trade Thread!
I know this wasn't meant to be a real thread but I'm bored enough right now and figured I'd make a list of what I'd want from other team's to consider trading Martin (though not saying I'd do it without at least waiting to see him & Evans play a little together). Note that these are only "realistic" trades (so when I say there's nothing the Cavs could give us for Martin the real answer is "since Lebron is out of the question.....there's nothing the Cavs could give us").
ATL: nothing
BOS: nothing
CHA: nothing
CHI: something centered around Noah (though this is right on the edge of being "realistic")
CLE: nothing
DAL: nothing
DEN: nothing (Nene is off limits; if he wasn't I'd target him)
DET: nothing
GSW: nothing (Randolph's off the table)
HOU: nothing
IND: nothing
LAC: nothing (Gordon's off the table)
LAL: nothing
MEM: possibly something based around Mayo (buy low) because I think he's a near perfect fit in the backcourt next to Evans (shooter, plays defense, can play point)
MIA: nothing
MIL: nothing
MIN: something based around their draft pick pending they still suck at the trade deadline
NJN: same as Minnesota
NOH: nothing
NYK: nothing
OKC: nothing
ORL: nothing
PHI: (only if they're still pretty bad around the deadline) something based around their pick, Speights, and another semi-valuable sweetener (probably either Young or Holiday)
PHO: nothing
POR: nothing
SAS: nothing
TOR: nothing (because Bosh won't sign an extension here)
UTA: if the Knicks are really bad at the deadline I'd consider something based around that pick
WAS: nothing
ATL: nothing

Not quite that easy.

I wouldn't say it's a "minute" difference at all, and I also wouldn't say he's consistent either, since half the season he puts up 0/0/0. Say what you want, but this is irrefutable fact.

Sure it is, just try approaching it rationally.

Yes, because we lost on the road with him the first few games, our road record has skyrocketed since he has been out.
