Victory Cigar vs. Bucs Adequate Win

Post#1 » by exculpatory » Wed Dec 9, 2009 3:04 am

Adequate win. However, we should have mauled them.

For me, cigar is RR with almost trip dub vs. KG still on an incredible shooting streak (25 points on 9-13, and 9 R)

Truth with 15 on 5-9, 5R and 5A. Perk, RA, and Sheed all in double figures and contributed.

P.S. I will be in the second row behind Wiz bench Thursday night. I hope they put on a show for me. Lots of Cs fans in DC area.

No offense Ex, but it's Bucks, not Bucs. We didn't play my Tampa Bay Buccaneers, although we could probably beat them :( Only I can make fun of the Bucs since they are my team. lol.

Tough one tonight. KG's 25 and 9 on his hot streak. Or Rondo with the near trip-doub

Guys, look for the middle aged man with a green Celtic sweatshirt right behind Wiz bench. When I get there I am going to try to trade with someone with same seat behind Celtics bench, LOLOL.

Rondo.

Good to see KG still consistent on his shooting though.

Sorry about Bucs-Bucks mix-up, KM. Do you realize I may be the only former jock in America who does not give a damn about professional football? I just watch it for the skill displayed. Having no team, I would like to see NO and Colts go to Super Bowl undefeated.

I am psyched about Thursday night!!!!

Hey Cavs have blown a lead and currently close going down the stretch. I love to see the King lose.

I'm lovin' KG's consistency, but tonight was Rajon's night. He was literally all over the place.

KG and Rondo have been beating the crap out of teams of late. I went Rondo again, but I'm beginning to view them as two sides of the same player. The Pierce and KG combo has been pretty nifty too.

A wins a win. 14-5 on the offensive glass again. We cause 5 more turnovers yet they shoot 12 more shots. Get that **** fixed. It's unacceptable.

KG, he's been dropping 20+ point games lately and he isn't even 80%.

I have to say Rondo, despite KG's monster effort. I noticed two things about the game: the Celtics played well when Rondo was in, and struggled when he was out. For that, he gets my vote.

Pretty bad game. We were too soft. The bench was brutal again.

Great game by Rondo, too bad he didn`t have a triple double...

Had to go with Rondo. Not a great win, but a win is a win.

Rondo owned this game ALL NIGHT LONG. Ridiculous stat line, guarded the other team's best player all night, made him an after-thought, had a near double double in the first 3 quarters in assists and rebounds and then scored 11 4th quarter points (on 3 of 3 shooting and 5 of 7 from the line) to put the game away. 5 STEALS!

The bench has terrible flow right now. House can't be counted on do much except shoot (and only then if he isn't playing point--can't play point and shoot--that's too much), 'Sheed once again made some jumpers to salvage several possessions and Williams was a non-factor. Scal and TA were up and down, which is about all we can expect from them. The major problem on that unit is the lack of a distributor/ball handler....
The leaks are real...the news is fake.

I'm just here for the memes.

It was toss up between Rondo and KG for me, went with KG for asserting himself, he had the match up and from tip to buzzer he just did the Bucks. Rondo was great really love seeing that jumper come around and knocking down FTs 5-7 from the line matters a hell of a lot more to me than the 13 assists.

One thing that has to get mentioned is Perk though. If you look at the box and see that Bogut (who is MIL best player not Jennings) went for 25/14 it doesn't seem like Perks defense needs mention but in this game it does. Bogut is not consistent yet because of the injuries but he is a great talent and when he is going off he is a handful. At the end of the game MIL tried to go to him and Perk shut him down. Other bigs will score more, block a few more shots and even grab a few more boards, but Kendrick Perkins is the best low post man to man defender in the NBA.

Rondo by a landslide. KG with the runner up. Honestly, it is almost as if there is a dude named Kevjon Garndo out there lately, because Rondo and KG have been on a string with each other ever since Doc finally went all in with Rondo running the offense. The entire game revolves around them, and Rondo has Kevin in a ridiculous groove right now. He also has Perk playing the best offensive basketball of his career. Paul and Ray have seen their numbers go down a bit, but the ridiculous upswing in the production of our bigs shows the wisdom of the move. High percentage looks, and we are finally getting to the free throw line after being a jump shooting team early on in the season.

Having the ball and making the decisions, while getting about 5 times as many picks as he had before, has Rondo playing out of his mind. Hell, he just said "I'm taking over the fourth quarter", and did exactly that. Absolutely brutalized Jennings last night on both ends.

It's been great ever since that Orlando game when Doc didn't let Rondo have the ball. Since then, Rondo has been fully running the offense, and not coincidentally, we are undefeated.
