We gotta learn to play ball, the lack of leadership is showing big time. I do expect Tyreke to get there one day, but man we have to stop just standing there looking at each other like man, what just happened.
I'm suprised Donte is still out there.

Another frustrating loss. We're RIGHT there until the last few minutes and then we fall apart. We'll get over the hump eventually but I'm getting a little impatient.

4 games in 5 nights in 4 different cities...it showed tonight down the stretch.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

It's frustrating to see this loss, but this is a young team going up against Paker, Duncan, and Ginobili!!! We are headed in the right direction and effort is there every night. We just have to find a way to play better on the road and cut down on all these bone head plays and turnovers.

Donte played 4 minutes in the first half, 20 or so in the second. Too much.

You really can't afford to turn it over much against the Spurs. And while 15 isn't bad, I think that's one thing that killed us, largely because it was so avoidable. So many of them were just plain stupid--Donte, Tyreke, Omri, Sergio--just a lot of dumb, avoidable turnovers between them.
Having said that, we could have turned the ball over just as much and still won this game. It came down largely to one thing--the Spurs were 8-9 from 3. That's ridiculous. And regardless of defense, that's a fluke. If they just shoot a merely somewhat ridiculous percentage, like 5-9 or 6-9, this is a different game. We foul them less near the end (due to the score of the game), and this is a different game.
And of course, given all of that, our FT's probably still would have guaranteed a loss. This is really starting to infuriate me. I don't know what's been going on with Tyreke, JT, and Noc from the line recently, but damn is it annoying. And I'm starting to get really irritated with the Casspi situation. Is this not being worked on in practice? Is the team not paying any attention to this? It's kind of an important issue.
Anyway, frustrating loss over all. The team definitely looked tired, but there were just so many things that could have been done better.

At least they hung in there. I was impressed with Casspi's play, for the most part it seemed he played up to par with Ginobili, which is very impressive. Also JT played a great game. When matched up on Duncan, he seemed to play good D, hand's straight up and avoiding stupid fouls. And another solid game from Tyreke across the board.
Can't complain much about lossing to the spurs at home. Especially when Bonner and Jefferson don't miss from outside, and your getting three's from Keith Bogans...oh well, we fought well

Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.
