I really want this guy traded. Not a silly trade for junk, but for another player on rookie deal with potential. Maybe Batum or Rudy Fernandez?

I got no problem with TWill right now. People also gotta look at his other tweets telling people basically relax. Call it PR/Management telling him to make some positive tweets, but tell me this: If you were 1-19, coming from a very good college program, got by for the most part based on your court vision and athleticism and all the pressure we're putting on him to contribute as quickly as possibly...tell me you wouldn't be a little pissy. Twitter is basically satan because allows everyone to post their thoughts, but relax guys. He's just frustrated. He also says that he needs to work on stuff and he loves his team and people are looking too much into his tweets. I don't think players should tweet anyway, but you're overreacting.

Also...if we couldn't get Batum or Rudy in the deal for Vince, why would we ever get one of them for Twill. Pritchard is a stingy d-bag. A smart man, but stingy as balls in trades.

^ Though I hate injuries to anyone the d-bag is getting what was coming to him from all reports he's one smug bastard and likes to gloat about what an amazing team he's assembled... Supposedly alienated quite a few front office people with that kind of talk too... ^

I'm not willing to give up to Terrence Williams and see no point in trading him with his value as low it is but I think some time in the D-League will be the swift kick in the face he desperately needs.

I like what Kiki did with him last game he saw Williams was chucking so he yanked him and left him on the bench, that's the way rookies should be treated as far as I'm concerned.

My hope right now is that Kiki sits down talks to T-Will and explains to him his role is not to be the go-to guy on offense and that he was drafted more for the other things he brings not his scoring...

Lude, I got a major problem with what T WIll said. There is a difference between being pissy and frustrated and saying things that you can almost never retract.
He doesn't want to be here or be a Net, it's that simple.
If I am GM I try to make that wish a reality, just for fair value and hopefully send him to another lotto team.
Matter of fact, try and trade him to Minny for Corey Brewer.

CDR is frustrated too, yet his frustrations have made the people here respect him even more.
Terrance Williams is just being a whiny child.

Benching T. Will is the best solution, once Hayes gets back he can keep his chucking a** on the bench until he learns how to play to his ability. He needs practice time to develop a shot like CDR did. I hope he works as hard as CDR this offseason. Look what one offseason did for him if you put in the time.

But with that said, no I don't want ot trade him yet.

Were you talking about Yi there or Twill? If you're speaking of the latter, that's a very harsh thing to say considering he's 20 games into his rookie season. You can't say things like that this early. Every rookie will hit the wall at some point in the season. What you need to observe is if it appears he's putting in extra work to push through it, how long it takes to break through the wall (if at all) and how he continues to impress during the season.

This is honestly too (Please Use More Appropriate Word) to be discussing right now people.

I probably should have cooled down after reading his tweets instead of lashing out. But it looks like we have another Swat like knucklehead to deal with and that does not bode well for Rod in my eyes. I said he was high risk high reward because I felt there were safer picks in the draft than him.

(I dont tweet, I've read some, but are you able to edit your posts, like you can here?)

honestly, the NBA has been dealing with twitter as whole and how it affects fans and players...NBATV was talking about this last week...For sports overall, especially basketball, its a beautiful thing...though we are going to find NBA/team policies pop up, (tweeting during games), ect...but in regards to stupid remarks, displaying your team's dirty laundry, and any sort of derrogatory comments made by players(rookies) about there teams, should be dealt with accordingly...Players will be disciplined for comments on twitter the same as if they were saying them on the camera or on the radio, there is no difference...

Again there is nothing better than for a fan to speak directly to any professional sport player ...thats sort of line of communication, is what brings us closer to the sport...and with basketball you are as close as its gets...

I dunno when his comments were made, but maybe thats why he only played 9min...

Nets rookie forward Terrence Williams has posted his frustrations on Twitter and could face a fine from the club.

"You don't do that [Twitter] on club time," said team president Rod Thorn, who added Williams "could be" fined for posts he made Monday.

On Twitter, Williams wondered what life would be like had he been drafted by Toronto or Charlotte and suggested that practice time has become his game time for him.

"How would it be if Mr. Stern called my name 10 min earlier #9 or 5 min later #12 hmmmmmmmmm to bad I can't live off what ifs," his Tweet read.

On Tuesday, Williams attempted to clarify his comments.

"You guys talk about that, but my next Tweet says I love my situation, I love my teammates and you guys got to know that we're all human and we hate losing," Williams said. "It's not a regret at all. It's the best decision for me to come to New Jersey. I love it. I wouldn't want to play at Charlotte or [Toronto]. I'm happy I'm here."

Williams is averaging 9.2 points and 4.8 rebounds in 25 minutes per game this season.

Should have known this would happen sooner or later dude is buddies with Nate Robinsuck (which now that I think about it is probably where T-Will learned all about "good" shot selection)...

We have no luck when drafting Williams'. Marcus, Sean, Terrence..

Stick to the Smith's and Johnson's Mr Thorn!

I do too. I was Marcus' biggest fan but there's no denying he's a terrible defensive player and would chuck three's without thinking about it twice. He was also fat and lazy. He was a great passer and a surprisingly good finisher when he took to the basket though.

"They're not guarding me so I'm not going to keep dribbling the ball into people," he said on Monday. "If everybody's in the lane and my man's off of me, I'm going to shoot the ball."

God damn it Terrence. There's a reason your man is off you and you're wide open. You can't shoot DAWG.

LOL this guy's Twitter comments are amusing, shows a lot about his intelligence level. I don't see him as the type that would work his ass off next summer and improve significantly like CDR did. He had the opportunity for major minutes on a team like the Nets, the minutes that he wouldn't get if he was drafted by Toronto or Charlotte, yet he makes nothing of it.

I feel bad for the Nets, hopefully Yi and Hayes will be back soon.

PS: I like what this Fred Kerber guy writes in the NY Post, he's funny: http://www.nypost.com/p/blogs/netsblog/nets_williams_doesn_play_doesn_talk_jQp9vVT3HBmBFW0kAXBGuI

Brook Lopez is 6th in the Eastern All-Star balloting at 39K plus, well behind obvious leader Dwight Howard (625K), then Shaq, Andrea Bargnani, Al Horford and Andrew Bogut (45K plus in votes)

"That's so cool," Lopez said of being mentioned in All-Star voting.
