As crazy as it sounds, I would love to get Hideki Matsui to DH. Folks in Japan would spend tons on Blue Jays merchandise, every Jays game would be televised in Japan and thousands of Japanese fans would flock to the Rogers Centre over the course of a season. He's more than just a big deal here.
I think he's still capable of solid power and average numbers. He's also a class act.

makes a lot more sense than Frank Thomas did a few years ago, but looks like AA is trying to build from the ground up.

It does sound crazy, but Jays are already crowded at the DH spot. Who knows, if they can move Overbay, might not be such a crazy idea after all

Matsui is one of my favorites, and it was amazing to see him win that world series for the Yanks. That said, I really doubt we sign an aging player like him, when AA is trying to rebuild.

I can't see it happening at all..but Matsui sure does love to hit in Toronto...he always hits huge homeruns here
