LeBron James and Dwyane Wade to NY Knicks

Post#1 » by theman » Thu Dec 10, 2009 10:17 pm

I feel the only way LeBron ends up in NY would be if another superstar went with him. Currently that can't happen but if the Knicks can unload Eddy Curry and/or Jared Jeffries (Micheal Jordan sucks as a GM) for expiring contracts they will be far enough under the cap to offer two max contracts. Walsh should be doing everything in his power to do that.

I personally find this idea fascinating. It reminds me of when Orlando was in the hunt for Grant Hill and Tim Duncan but had to settle for Hill and McGrady. I think things could be a little better for NY since A) it is NY and B) unlike Tim Duncan neither would be leave a championship team. (Delusional Cavs fans can ignore this second point).

So the question is How likely is it that LeBron and Wade would decide to team up when NY come a courting. And how good would a team of LeBron and Wade and whatever pieces they have left be?

I know Chris Bosh is another highly sought F.A. but he is a plan be and please, NY may have to settle for Joe Johnson but that would be settling.

It'll never happen, Lebron would'nt want to share the spot light with anyone else.

yeah i agree with Tony on this. I dont think a Lebron/Wade combo could mesh well. A Lebron/Bosh duo on the other hand.....

i dont think a team of wade and lebron would do so well. i think lebron would be better off playing with bosh, and amare and wade would be perfect team mates.

The Knicks had their chances last trading deadline when the Kings came calling about a deal to send Kenny Thomas for Jeffries and Nate Robinson. Now the Knicks are left with Jeffries' 2011 deal and Nate Robinson is currently being benched my D'Antoni. Too bad Donnie...that was a huge mistake.

LeBron and Bosh will end up on the Knicks. They both have crazy leverage over their current teams in terms of forcing a sign-and-trade.

Nate is done in N.Y and they are trying to trade him. Dirty D Antoni hates Nate cause if his stupidity and his dumb things he does on the court like shooting a three point shot against his own team where there is .05 seconds left on the clock and actually counted against his own team as well as all the delay of games he costs the Knicks by his childish acts.

Nate needs to grow up and start acting like a professional instead of a kid in grade school.

Why does anyone care where LeBron goes? I hope he goes to NY and rots along with the rest of the Knicks.

LeBron and Wade shouldn't play together. They both need to dominate the ball to be great.

I think LeBron's best guy to team up with would be Bosh. An all-star big.

Why exactly would Wade leave Miami to team up with 'Bron in NY, why not just do it in tax free Miami?

I think Amare will be a Knick not LeBron or Wade.
